Harry Potter and the Attack of the Squibs

Chapter 2 Tombstone Inscription

The world is spinning.

Then it stopped, but now it was trembling.

The young man fell to the ground dazed and groaned.

Watson yelled at Lu Ke angrily: "What are you doing!"

She reached out and pulled the young man up from the ground.

In fact, the matter is not complicated. The young man rushed towards Lu Ke just now, and was knocked to the ground by Lu Ke's punch.

He shook his head blankly. The punch just now was neither light nor heavy. Although he was not injured, his mind was indeed not clear.

"How could you do this!"

Watson glanced at Lu Ke.

Lu Ke shook his head: "He is an addict."

Watson was stunned for a moment.

"So what? How much I pay him is my business, it has nothing to do with you."

Lu Ke was stunned for a moment: "Are you really going to give him money?"

Watson yelled at Lu Ke angrily: "It has nothing to do with you!"

Then she helped the young man back into the house.

Lu Ke glanced at it casually, then turned around and lowered his head.

In front of him was an extremely dilapidated cemetery, with four or five tombstones scattered here and there. In addition, there were three wooden boards that were almost completely rotten.

If anyone could leave footprints without the Muggles here noticing, it's probably a wizard.

And which wizard will come here, it should be Voldemort.

Lu Ke came here for the Horcrux, and now it seems that this is where the Horcrux is.

It's just that Lu Ke is very strange. All previous Horcruxes Voldemort had arranged absolutely reliable guards, but there seemed to be nothing here.

Lu Ke could feel the existence of all the power of magic, but there was no magic here.

There are no curses or protective charms, no powerful alchemical items.

Lu Ke squatted down and looked at the words on a tombstone in front of him.

There was a name written on it that Lu Ke absolutely didn't recognize, as well as the dates of birth and death, but there was nothing else.

Lu Ke stood up helplessly.

Then Watson came back behind him.

"You look down on addicts, so where were you when they were desperate?"

"You didn't hesitate to take action against him, then do you dare to take action against the trafficker?"

Watson glared at Lu Ke coldly.

Lu Ke smiled in surprise: "Your moral standards..."

Watson turned to look at the tombstone and coldly interrupted Lu Ke: "I have no moral standards."

Lu Ke shook his head helplessly: "You can look for clues, but don't touch anything. People have died here."

Watson raised his head and glanced at Lu Ke: "There are dead people everywhere here."

"What do you think cemeteries are for?"

Lu Ke shook his head.

He began to walk around the cemetery.

While the absence of the enchantment most likely means that the Horcruxes are not here, it is also possible that Voldemort chose a riskier, but more reliable protection for the wizard.

But after walking around the cemetery twice, Lu Ke still had no clue.

He couldn't see any clues.

At this moment, Watson casually walked to a tombstone behind Lu Ke, then straightened up and nodded: "I understand."

Lu Ke was stunned for a moment: "What do you understand?"

Watson pointed to the name on the tombstone: "These are the initials of the main characters in the story of King Arthur."

Lu Ke was simply stunned.

He is not an expressive person, and it is rare that he loses control of his expression.

Watson smiled proudly: "You don't like King Arthur stories? But that's right, there are very few people who are as obsessed as me."

Lu Ke turned around helplessly. He looked at the names on the tombstones around him, and then shook his head helplessly: "Where are the numbers?"

Watson shook his head: "It seems like nothing."

Lu Ke was silent for a moment, and then walked to a tombstone.

"Merlin..."

Watson nodded: "The most powerful wizard in history. He is a good old man, although he has made a fool of himself in some stories."

Lu Ke looked down at the tombstone. He was not sure what would be under the tombstone.

But at least not today: "Your commission is completed, let's go."

Watson took a deep look at Lu Ke: "You don't want me to see the target, do you?"

Then she turned and walked towards the window where she came in: "Don't worry, my rules are stricter than anywhere else."

Lu Ke smiled helplessly and jumped through the window in front of Watson.

Then they left the room together.

The young man never appeared during the whole process.

They stood at the door. Lu Ke turned around and was about to leave, but Watson stopped: "Wait a minute, I'll arrange a job for him."

Lu Ke was stunned for a moment: "What?"

Watson seemed to hesitate for a moment, then turned to look at Lu Ke: "I will give him money and ask him to keep an eye on the cemetery and not let others in or cause damage."

Lu Ke almost laughed in surprise.

Then he suddenly understood something: "You guessed it."

Watson nodded: "Although people like you are rare, it's not like I've never seen them before."

Lu Ke took a deep breath: "You are just like my girlfriend..."

As soon as these words came out, embarrassment rose on Watson's face, and then Lu Ke realized it. He quickly shook his head and wanted to explain.

But it was too late.

The little man in the bottle appeared out of thin air and raised his right hand towards Lu Ke: "You idiot with a pig head!"

Then Lu Ke's face turned into a pig's head. Of course, it was not the real one, but like the cute version in the comics.

Watson looked at what was happening in front of him and stood there blankly.

Lu Ke could only sigh helplessly: "I didn't mean that."

The little man in the bottle snorted coldly and then disappeared.

Lu Ke stood there and sighed.

Finally, Watson burst out laughing.

"Is this what your friend is capable of?"

Lu Ke nodded helplessly.

Watson looked at Lu Ke's pig head and laughed wildly: "You are a little cute now..."

"At least it's much better than the way you acted just now, where you had nothing to do with others dying."

The smile on Watson's face disappeared: "You think that young man must secretly move that cemetery out of greed, and then be killed by the thing that killed Old Tom, right?"

Lu Ke nodded silently.

Watson nodded: "What I hate most is self-righteous people like you."

After saying that, she turned and walked into the room.

Although the young man was a little unhappy to be interrupted again and again, he still smiled when he looked at the sharp banknotes in Watson's hand: "Want to help?"

Watson nodded: "Watch the cemetery and don't let others in. How do you think Old Tom died?"

The young man was holding the banknotes and smiling when he suddenly trembled when he heard these words: "What do you mean?"

Watson had a smile on his face, it was almost witch-like and a little scary.

"What else could be in the cemetery?"

The young man shook his head: "Ghost? But..."
