Harry Potter and the Attack of the Squibs

Chapter 78 Defending the Nose

This was Harry Potter's first year-end dinner.

This is the moment when Dumbledore makes great progress in developing the Savior.

This was a dinner that made the Harry trio feel proud after Gryffindor lost a full 150 points.

It was a sad night for Slytherin.

Of course, Lu Ke didn't care at all. He was completely witnessing the historical moment, happy for Harry, and worried about the mysterious man. He didn't care at all that Slytherin was defeated by the Jedi.

Dumbledore had done his best, and it couldn't have been a better time for Harry Potter to end his first year on a night like this.

But amid the happy cheers, there was a shadow of uneasiness.

Of course, Lu Ke and Dumbledore had no idea about the worries of the Harry trio. They had too many other things to worry about.

The mysterious man is still at Hogwarts.

When all the students happily celebrated the end of the school year and the summer vacation was approaching, Lu Ke walked over to Malfoy and sat down next to him in the midst of the celebration.

This was originally Marcus Flint's seat, but of course he can't come back now.

"Sorry Malfoy, I made some mistakes. I shouldn't have doubted you."

Malfoy still looked scared, but at least he wouldn't run away because of it.

"I heard Snape say...it's all Marcus Flint. He said you...wanted to be the next Dark Lord, so he was afraid that I would steal your limelight in Slytherin."

Lu Ke couldn't help but laugh.

This was the first time he knew how Marcus Flint described him.

"If he said I treated you special, yes."

Lu Ke picked up the cup and took a sip of pumpkin juice.

"There are always very few Slytherins. I always hope that you can become a real Slytherin, the one who can influence other people."

Malfoy looked surprised: "But doesn't Slytherin already have you?"

Lu Ke nodded: "I'm not good at socializing. If I were to be the Dark Lord, I would be very suitable, but what Slytherin needs is exactly the opposite of the Dark Lord."

Malfoy smiled.

Ambition runs in his veins, it's natural.

"I can, I will, and I will try."

Malfoy looked with bright eyes at Harry, who was so popular at the Gryffindor table.

Lu Ke nodded: "But no dirty tricks are allowed. Marcus Flint hates me because I easily pulled him down from the position of captain of the Quidditch team. Many people don't know why I Do this."

Malfoy was a little nervous and smiled excitedly: "Because playing dirty tricks on the Quidditch field is the most shameful. As long as he is here, the entire Hogwarts will think that Slytherin is a dirty villain."

Lu Ke smiled.

He glanced at Malfoy: "So I was right about you, you are very talented."

The dinner was finally over.

Lu Ke walked towards the three Harrys, wanting to congratulate Harry on his recovery and comeback, but just as he was about to take action, the three Harrys disappeared along with the Gryffindor army.

Lu Ke was stunned for a moment. He didn't know if it was an illusion, but the three Harrys seemed to be avoiding him.

"Do you still have that arrowhead of yours?"

But Johanna came over and quickly made Lu Ke forget about it.

"Now is the best time. I'm sure whoever the mysterious man is possessing will be back in the dormitory at this time."

Lu Ke smiled bitterly and took out the arrow: "I tried it last time and failed."

Johanna took the arrow and straightened her right arm to make the arrow vertical.

"Show me his enemies."

Then the arrow pointed to Lu Ke.

Johanna was stunned for a moment.

Lu Ke was also surprised.

"The last time I tried it, the arrow was pointing behind me, and no matter which direction I turned, it was pointing behind me..."

Lu Ke laughed: "Good news, the mysterious person is on me."

Johanna shook her head: "This is impossible...Why did the mysterious man do nothing while he was on you?"

Lu Ke raised his head and thought for a moment: "Because I'm a squib. What did the mysterious man want to do, but he found that he couldn't cast magic at all, so he didn't do anything."

Johanna sighed: "I think we should go find Dumbledore now."

Lu Ke nodded: "Let's go."

The two walked out of the hall together.

After their footsteps completely disappeared on the stairs, the air began to fluctuate, and then the invisibility cloak fell, revealing the three of Harry.

"This is really troublesome..."

Ron looked at Harry and then at Hermione, with a frightened expression on his face.

Harry hesitated for a moment: "If you think about it carefully, if Death Eaters are all lunatics who are not afraid of death, then Quirrell might also be telling lies."

Hermione shook her head: "The point is not that, but that the mysterious man is still in Hogwarts. No matter what, we must be prepared."

"Your decision saved the Philosopher's Stone last time, Harry, and Ron and I will support you this time."

Ron nodded quickly.

Harry smiled: "It doesn't matter, with your help we can win this time!"

Then they put on the invisibility cloak and returned to the Gryffindor common room together.

Johanna and Lu Ke walked into the principal's office together.

This time they went to find Snape first. As soon as he heard what happened to Lu Ke, he led two people straight to the principal's office.

Now, Snape and Dumbledore stood together, looking gloomy.

"Your alchemy is amazing Lu Ke, Nico will be proud of you."

Dumbledore held an arrow in his hand, and the arrow was pointing in the direction of Lu Ke.

Lu Ke shook his head: "The problem is Voldemort..."

Dumbledore sighed: "I will use a slightly dangerous method to confirm again, but I already have a rough idea."

Lu Ke took the arrow from Dumbledore: "What do you think?"

Dumbledore glanced at Lu Ke: "Sacrificing one's soul and body is a very huge price. In black magic, almost any impossible thing can be accomplished with this price."

Lu Ke raised his right hand in surprise: "This black magic?"

Dumbledore nodded, then took something wrapped in a handkerchief from the shelf on one side.

He carefully used his wand to lift the handkerchief open, revealing its contents.

"Hufflepuff's diadem?"

Johanna looked surprised.

Dumbledore nodded: "The surprise, or shock, that Lu Ke gave me last year, at least it is useful now."

A gray mist rose from the crown, as if attracted by something, drifted towards Lu Ke, and then got into his nostrils.

At that moment, Lu Ke was in a trance.

He shook his head, then noticed the other three looking at him grimly.

"What's wrong? My nose is missing?"
