A tall, handsome middle-aged man walked into the room. He was stroking the snake-headed ring on his left finger with his right hand. He was suave and had a slight, sportive look on his face. He looked at Su Ye and said loudly, "Hey, future mage, where did you find the time to come have a meal at my shabby little restaurant?"

"Kae… Mister Kaerton…" Hamon stammered in shock.

Hutton was dumbfounded. How would Mister Kaerton know Su Ye?

Senat silently stuffed his dagger behind his back and immediately lowered his head as he greeted, "Mister Kaerton. Mister Hark."

Kaerton and Hark scanned past him. They did not look straight at him.

Kaerton blinked and froze at the door. He scanned the people in the room. He had thought that Su Ye was dining with his friends and had come here to thank Su Ye for his patronage. However, the atmosphere in this room was a little odd.

Hamon was flustered. He quickly realized that his life would fall apart here if Su Ye was indeed on friendly terms with Kaerton.

He could never afford to offend Kaerton!

It was impossible for Su Ye to know an influential figure like Kaerton!

His mind raced frantically, and he soon grasp a key point. Kaerton's attitude was unique. It didn't seem like he was welcoming an old friend, and there was a hint of mockery in his tone. It felt as though he did not like Su Ye very much.

"Could it be that Kaerton does not like Su Ye? Yes! That must be the case! Judging from Kaerton's tone, he must be here to find trouble with Su Ye, he must be!" Hamon's hand trembled as he fought back the urge to wipe off his sweat.

Su Ye was still sitting in the chair. His gaze swept past Kaerton and nodded toward Hark, "Mister Hark."

"Hm." Hark acknowledged him softly and nodded back in greeting.

Hamon and Hutton did not notice Hark's reply, but Senat, who was paying the most attention to Hark, felt waves of shock in his heart.

An ordinary person might not understand, but Senat knew just how powerful Hark was. Hark was a powerful Bronze Warrior who could hold his own against a Silver Warrior.

Senat had sought out Hark for a sparring match many years ago. Hark did not answer, but Senat could not calm himself down and attacked anyway.

Three moves.

Hark had knocked him out with an elbow in just three moves.

Senat knew Hark's temper. He was apathetic even to Bronze Warriors who were at the same level as him, but he now replied to a child. There had to be a problem here.

"Hm? What's the meaning of this, Su Ye? You didn't see me?" Kaerton glared at Su Ye, his nose nearly twisted in fury. Only greeting Hark and not me, who does he take me, Kaerton, as?

Hamon was elated when he saw Kaerton's attitude. He once again judged that Kaerton hated Su Ye. However, he had the nagging feeling that something was off.

Su Ye glanced at Kaerton and said, "How could I not see you? I heard that you, Mister Kaerton, have been in the spotlight of the city of Athens these two days. If I am not wrong, did you just come back from entertaining the Pandion family?"

Hamon trembled when he heard Su Ye's tone. Su Ye dared to mock Kaerton. What did that mean?

Hamon's heart sank to rock bottom.

What shocked everyone was that not that Kaerton wasn't angry at Su Ye's blatant mockery, but that instead, he let out a smug laugh in response. He straightened his long robe and said, "I didn't really do anything much. All I did was send some salad dressing over, then had a chat with the butler of the Pandion family, Mister Pierce."

"Then you forgot about the Dolphin River?" Su Ye asked.

Kaerton had thought that Su Ye was joking. After all, he had started the joke. However, he now observed that there was something wrong with Su Ye's tone. He looked at the three other people in the room and knitted his brows as he asked, "What happened?"

"The three of them were prepared to destroy the Dolphin River Restaurant," Su Ye said.

"Hm?" Kaerton scanned over the three people with a fierce gaze. He unknowingly released the authority of a Silver Warrior.

"I did not!" Hamon shouted in a hurry.

"I walked into the wrong room." Senat wanted to leave but had no choice but to stand where he was when Hark looked at him.

Hamon felt a chill down his back when he heard Senat's words. He quickly looked at him with a questioning gaze.

Senat lowered his head and did not look at Hamon.

"These three are not your friends?" Kaerton finally freed himself from his joy of meeting the Pandion family and started to take the matter seriously.

Su Ye smiled. "I thought that Mister Hamon was your good friend."

"How is that possible. I have only seen this person two or three times. I have never even spoken to him," Kaerton said.

"We have spoken…" Hamon muttered softly, not daring to rebut directly.

Su Ye said, "That's weird then. Why would they dare to say that they would not allow me to walk through that door if I did not fill up this cup with my blood?"

1

Hamon's skin crawled.

Kaerton instantly understood that Su Ye had not come here on his own accord. He had been threatened.

Kaerton was furious. He had established a connection with the Pandion family using his salad with much difficulty. The fragrance of cinnamon used by the Pandion family had not yet scattered from his long robe. But someone was trying to kill the largest contributor to his success in his own home?

Kaerton tried his best to suppress his fury. He stared straight at Hamon and said, "You want to shed Su Ye's blood in my restaurant?"

Hamon could not deal with the fury of a Silver Warrior. He felt as though there were a Magical Beast standing in front of him. He stammered, "Mister… You are misunderstood. I did not do anything. My son and Su Ye are classmates. I got his classmate to come here for a normal meal so that they could become best friends. Hutton, isn't that right?"

Hutton had already been scared silly when he heard his father say the name of the person in front of them. He did not know what to say and only nodded his head forcefully.

Kaerton sighed and said, "Looks like everyone knows that I, Kaerton, am too kind and too easy to fool."

Senat said decisively, "Mister Kaerton, this is what really happened. Hamon wants to teach Mister Su Ye a lesson as Mister Su Ye had beaten up his son, Hutton. I owed Hamon a favor and thus came here to take a look. However, because of Mister Su Ye's sharp words and exceptional demeanor, my conscience told me that I could not harm such a person. I was about to leave, but the two of you entered at that time."

Hamon clenched his fist. He wanted to go all out against Senat.

Kaerton disregarded Senat. He stared deeply at Hamon, which caused all of Hamon's hair to stand.

"Kaer… Mister Kaerton…" Hamon saw that a pale silver glow had enveloped Kaerton's body. He was so afraid that he could not speak in complete sentences.

A Silver Warrior could demolish a building with a single punch.

Hutton trembled and slumped onto the ground. He tried his best to stand up, but he had lost control over his legs. He could not stand no matter how hard he tried.

"Don't scare the child," Su Ye said casually.

Kaerton let out a soft grunt and restrained his power. He reached out for a chair and sat down.

"I'll listen to you," Kaerton said lazily.

Senat looked at Su Ye in disbelief. A person who could make Kaerton say those words must be at least at the level of a Gold Warrior. Just who was Su Ye?

Hamon knew that he had failed today when he heard Kaerton's words. If Kaerton and Su Ye were merely on talking terms with each other, he could have had the chance to mobilize the people he knew. Now that he saw Kaerton listening to what Su Ye had to say, the people he knew would sever all ties with him and run as far away as they could if they knew about this.
