The villain's side of the novel

65 It's Finally here.

"Hello, Mr. Parada, thank you for accepting our invitation," Queen Fozya replied with a bright smile, looking at Fray with an interested eye.

"Of course, I will not ignore an invitation from your majesty. The relationship and loyalty between the Parada family and Lionar Kingdom are of great significance," Fray replied with a stoic expression.

After hearing Fray's words, all the guests opened their eyes with shocked expressions, unable to believe that Fray actually dared to mock the Queen in the royal palace like that. Everyone knew that Lionar Kingdom had abandoned Iskar the moment it became weaker. It was clear to everyone that Fray's talk about loyalty and deep relationships was just a mockery of Lionar Kingdom. Suddenly, everyone despised Fray even more than before because of his arrogant reply.

"He's fine. Unfortunately, he had many responsibilities, so he couldn't attend the party," replied Fray. In fact, Montaser was also invited to the party, but Fray couldn't bring him along. Bringing a warrior to the heart of the Eighth Kingdom would attract a lot of attention and the royal family would keep a close watch on him, which could interfere with Fray's plans.

"Oh, so he's still ignoring me even now," said the Queen with a smile, letting out a small laugh.

In reality, Queen Fozya, despite her young appearance due to her strength and martial arts, was the same age as Montaser. A long time ago, Montaser had actually saved Queen Fozya from death, which made the queen fall in love with him. She wished to include Montaser in her harem, but despite her numerous attempts, Montaser never agreed to her offer, which only made the queen desire him even more.

In a particular corner of the hall, a man in elegant clothes observed the conversation between the Queen and the head of the Parada family. He attracted everyone's attention with his expressionless face. He then took out a small pocket watch from his pocket and looked at it with a cold expression.

(Three) The unknown man

(Two) The unknown man

(One) The unknown man thought with a serious expression as he glanced at the clock.

(What? Why hasn't anything happened yet...)

Suddenly, before the unknown man could finish his thoughts, without warning, all the guests felt a energy that suddenly enveloped them was palpable and overwhelming. It emanated an otherworldly power that seemed to defy comprehension. As it surged through the air, the atmosphere grew heavy and tense, causing a ripple of fear to spread among the onlookers.

The energy distorted space itself, warping the surroundings and creating a sense of disorientation. It manifested as a swirling vortex of vibrant colors, swirling and pulsating with an intensity that seemed to vibrate through the very souls of those present. The air crackled with electricity, and a low, rumbling hum resonated throughout the hall.

As the energy intensified, a suffocating pressure pressed down on the guests, making it difficult to breathe. It felt as if an invisible force was crushing them from all directions, forcing them to their knees. Each breath became a struggle, as if the weight of the world had descended upon their shoulders.

"What? This power is distorting space," said one of the important guests in a trembling voice as they struggled to stay standing.

"This power can't be from a human being. What the hell is going on?" another guest muttered with a frightened expression.

The guests exchanged terrified glances, their eyes wide with disbelief and alarm. Some clutched at their chests, feeling as if their hearts were being squeezed within a vice. Others stumbled and faltered, their movements sluggish and uncoordinated under the oppressive force.

Amidst the chaos and panic, the strange energy seemed to penetrate their very beings, probing their vulnerabilities and stirring the deepest recesses of their fears. It was a presence beyond their understanding, a reminder of forces far greater than themselves, and it left them paralyzed with dread.

Whispers of disbelief and desperation filled the air as the guests struggled to comprehend the magnitude of the situation. They realized that this energy was not of this world, and it carried with it a sense of impending doom.

"This power... it's the power of those beings. Why are they angered now? Why would they do this?" an old man with a strong physique and wise expression on his face questioned.

"Beings? What do you mean? What the hell is going on?" a middle-aged woman asked after hearing the old man's words.

"This is..." the old man began to say. He looked out the window at the sky and noticed that the moon, which had been illuminating the night, had disappeared. He continued, "The laws... they seem to be angry for some reason, and it seems they are coming."

"What? The laws?"

"Th-this is the end!" a young man cried out in terror upon hearing the word "laws." Fear spread among the guests, causing chaos. However, like the fat man, no one could move from their place due to the overwhelming pressure.

*Sigh* Fray sighed slowly as he observed the scene. He took another sip of his drink, seemingly unaffected by the pressure.

(It seems the pressure doesn't affect her much. I don't think she has a special soul, is it just because of her power ?) Fray observed Queen Fozya, who wore a serious expression, and thought calmly.

On the other side, realizing that chaos was about to erupt, the Queen stepped forward with confident steps. She combined her energy into her vocal cords, increasing the power of her voice. "Calm down. Laws cannot attack humans without reason. Don't worry, nothing will happen. The royal family will ensure it," Fozya said in a serious voice.

"Yes, yes, Her Majesty is right. Laws cannot attack innocent people, and we have not done anything to anger them. Let's calm down and think about our situation."

"Yes, let's calm the chaos. It won't do us any good."

"Yes... yes, let's calm down."

After hearing the Queen's words, the guests felt greatly relieved, and the chaos gradually subsided. However, a stunned silence fell over the place, leaving many wise guests even more frightened.

(This is dangerous... very dangerous. Why are they here ?) The Queen maintained a calm expression, hiding her true feelings from the public. Even as a warrior from the Ninth Kingdom, she couldn't predict the actions of the laws, nor could she face them.

(She's actually a really dangerous person.) Fray thought as he observed the Queen's calm demeanor.

"It's finally here," Fray whispered quietly. He sensed a strange spatial distortion in a certain area near the ceiling of the hall. With a composed expression, he awaited whatever would appear at any moment.
