The Strongest Badger at Hogwarts

Chapter 15: The Unfamiliar John

Emily's strange reaction made Link a little confused.

But that didn't stop him from continuing to stare at each other.

Link is not a shy boy who gets nervous when he meets a beautiful girl.

Looking at beautiful women is like 'As long as you are not embarrassed, then the other person is embarrassed', so Link has no burden at all about it.

He even thought that Emily's blushing look was cuter than usual!

...

"Let's be here today, get out of class is over."

Two hours later, Professor McGonagall on the podium shook the textbook in his hand, and then walked straight out of the classroom with a capable pace.

And as she gradually walked away, the originally silent classroom gradually became more active.

Emily Victoria couldn't wait to get up and fled the classroom, and the Slytherins followed her closely, and some of them gave Link a vicious look when they passed by.

The Hufflepuffs breathed a sigh of relief when they disappeared too.

To tell the truth, their appearance reminded Link of some kind of herbivore that was lucky enough to escape the mouth of a predator.

Hufflepuff's classmates were still slowly packing their things, but Link had already got up and was about to go to the auditorium.

It was lunchtime now, and the morning bread and milk had been dissipated in the hours of Transfiguration class. Feeling the hunger in his stomach, Link couldn't wait.

And Link had just left the classroom when a small hand grabbed his shoulder.

"Wait for me, Link! Huhuhu~ You're running too fast!"

John gasped and said, holding a rucksack in his hand. Judging from the outline squeezed by the book, this should not be Link's kind of space pocket.

"Is there a problem?"

Link said directly.

He doesn't like children, and he's not very good at communicating with them, so for those ordinary classmates and roommates, Link feels that it is enough to maintain only the most basic social relationship between them.

But John obviously didn't fully understand the hidden meaning in Link's words. He looked a little embarrassed when he heard this. He lowered his head and rubbed his hands back and forth on the corners of his clothes. After a while, he said in an inaudible voice:

"Link, you...is your relationship with Senior Cedric very good?"

"Well, it's alright, what's wrong?"

"I see, Link, can you say a few nice words to Cedric? The Hufflepuff Quidditch varsity trials are just a few days away, and I've always wanted to be a batsman. "

As soon as these words came out, the atmosphere between the two instantly became a little dull.

Link didn't say a word, just looked at John so quietly.

John, on the other hand, was so nervous that sweat started to form on his forehead.

Finally, after thinking for a moment, Link nodded and said:

"Yes, but I can't guarantee how much help this will give you. You also know Cedric's character."

"Great! Thank you! Thank you! Link!"

Looking at John's flushed face and dancing with excitement, Link shook his head imperceptibly, and then continued to walk towards the auditorium.

He originally thought that John should leave on his own when his goal was achieved. After all, his reputation in Hufflepuff recently was terrible, and no one would want to stay with him unless it was necessary.

But it seems that because he was too excited, John still followed Link, and he kept telling Link about Quidditch.

This made Link very helpless. He was really not interested in such things as Quidditch, so he could only perfunctory each other with a cold face all the way, 'Mmmmhhhh'.

Fortunately, John's emotional intelligence wasn't that outrageous.

After the two reached the auditorium on the floating stairs, he finally changed the subject and said with a certain look:

"Link, you must be going to make-up classes during your vacation, right?"

"Make up lessons?"

"Yeah! How else would you become so good this year?"

John's words made Link a little embarrassed. He didn't know if the original owner had made up the class during the vacation, but in order not to reveal the truth, he could only continue to be perfunctory with 'hmmmmm'.

John obviously misunderstood what Link meant. He followed Link to the long table that belonged to Hufflepuff. He tore a chicken leg from the roast chicken that suddenly appeared on the plate in front of him and gnawed it, muttering. Said eloquently:

"I really envy you, Link. You can continue to use spells when you get home from vacation. Unlike a child from a pure Muggle family like me, your wand becomes a useless stick when you get home."

Link on the other side had also started eating, but John's words caught his attention.

Link swallowed the food in his mouth and asked:

"Can't you use magic spells after your holiday?"

"Of course! Have you forgotten? Principal Dumbledore said it at the end of last year. Any little wizards are not allowed to use magic spells after returning home, and they said that this is to prevent accidents caused by wrong casting of spells. It is said that they also put something called traces on our wands, and as soon as we use the magic headmaster they will know, and they will fire us!" John said, biting the flesh in his mouth hard, "They said so. , but everyone who understands understands! This rule is only for Muggle-born students like me! The so-called traces have no way to cast the specific object of magic. Others, as long as there are other wizards in the family, they can use it casually Magic! It's so unfair!"

"Is that so?"

Link muttered.

He didn't know how to comfort him now.

I can only say that my luck is not bad, I didn't directly transmigrate into a Muggle student, or I will be deprived of the right to use magic spells during the holidays.

Fortunately, John only complained to Link a few words, and after he finished speaking, his attention was completely attracted by the food in front of him, and he started the battle with the roast chicken.

This made Link feel relieved and concentrated on eating.

One thing to say, Link didn't have a pleasant meal this time, because the food in the country is really bad!

Although not to the point of fish and chips every day as rumored on the Internet, the monotony of the recipe is true.

According to Link's personal experience, he has been at Hogwarts for almost four days, and during these four days, he can see potatoes and various roasted meats at almost every meal.

Although everyone around Link thinks potatoes are a vegetable, Link feels that in the eyes of Chinese people, potatoes may have long since become their real staple food.

After all, at Hogwarts you might not get bread or something at times, but potatoes are plentiful!

It is good to eat this kind of thing once or twice, but the experience of eating every day is not very good.

‘Looks like I need to find time to go to the kitchen. ’

Link, who was eating the grilled chicken in front of him, thought so.
