The Evil God of Hogwarts

Chapter 26 The Three Broomsticks Bar

The bar at noon was reserved for drunkards and idlers. Those people occupied several tables. When Xing Ze walked into the bar, they all gave him unfriendly looks.

The still-charming Ms. Rosmerta was standing behind the bar, wiping the glasses carefully. She could cast a small spell and the glasses in the wine cabinet would clean themselves.

But she didn't do that, as if wiping the glass was a sacred task. When Xing Ze choked at the bar, she raised her head and asked, "What do you want, young man?"

"A cup of snail cherry syrup soda." Xing Ze replied according to the code in the letter.

Ms. Rosmerta raised her eyebrows, put down the glass, turned around and started mixing drinks, and a glass of soda water was quickly placed in front of Xing Ze.

At that moment, the door of the bar was pushed open, and three men walked into the bar. They stood at the door and glanced around, and then the leading man shut up and said, "He smelled the smell of liquid bean."

He was pimpled and sniffled like a hound hunting for rabbits. A follower behind him immediately answered: "No, he smelled it too."

The three of them strode to the counter, and the acne man continued to sarcastically say: "He knows where the smell comes from." They turned their attention to Xing Ze.

"Would you like some more ice?" Ms. Rosmerta asked Xing Ze, focusing part of her attention on the three people.

"No more." Xing Ze replied.

"Damn it, what's wrong with that bar there? They serve yellow-skinned pigs, and no matter how good the wine is, it turns stinky." The acne-prone man said nonsense, and the smell of wine came out of his mouth. He probably drank a lot before coming there.

Xing Ze then raised his head and glanced at him. His clothes were not very decent, and his yellowed teeth showed that he liked smoking or chewing red leaves. His legs were shaking slightly unconsciously, possibly due to alcohol poisoning caused by long-term drinking.

Ms. Rosmerta frowned and asked Xing Ze again: "The weather will be very bad tomorrow."

"He thinks so too." Xing Ze retracted his gaze and replied.

The two people's wrong words made the acne man a little confused. He shouted: "I'm a damn yellow-skinned bastard. It's clear that it's sunny outside, but I say the weather is bad. Am I crazy?"

"He's not in his right mind," another follower agreed.

At some point, a magic wand appeared on Ms. Rosmerta's leg. She chanted a spell, but before the three people could react, they were swept out of the bar like garbage.

There were several sounds of heavy objects falling to the ground outside the door, causing a sleeping drunkard in the corner of the bar to mutter something in his sleep.

"Sorry, there are a lot of outsiders coming in recently, it's all because of the plague."

Xing Ze nodded to show that it was okay.

Then a ball of light appeared from Ms. Rosmerta's wand, and she said to Domba: "Follow the light, it will lead the way.

Xing Ze followed the ball of light through the kitchen, then through the storage room, and finally came to a closed wooden door.

The light ball merged into the wooden door at the end, and the door glowed with light. The magic pattern lock turned accordingly. After a few clicks, the door slowly opened.

A sweet aroma of wine hit his face, and Xing Ze guessed that it was probably a Didong wine cellar. He took out his wand and cast a sparkle spell, and saw the stairs to the east.

Following the stairs to Didong, his guess was correct. It was indeed a huge Didong wine cellar, filled with various barrels and bottles of wine.

Behind a few wooden shelves, a glint of light caught his eye.

Xing Ze continued walking along the light and saw a middle-aged man wearing a canvas apron behind a wine rack. He was squatting on the ground, holding a notepad in his legs, and was concentrating on examining the wine barrels in the bottom row of wine barrels.

"Those are meads. Have I ever drunk them, Xing Ze? The Three Broomsticks bar is very famous for its mead." The man suddenly said.

He stood up and Xingze saw his figure clearly in the light. He has a sparse head, a round face, small eyes, thick eyebrows, a slightly fat body, and a short stature. He looks very much like one of those salesmen running around.

"He remembers a glass of wine that nearly killed him."

"Aha." The man laughed, showing his yellow teeth, "That's not what he was confused about. Come with him, and they can talk somewhere else."

The man walked quickly towards the depths of the wine cellar, followed closely by Xing Ze. He asked the man, "What should he call me?"

"Whatever, if the name is wrong, it won't be a code name for them." The man replied briskly, "If I feel uncomfortable, I can call him Mr. R."

The two walked through rows of wine racks and soon arrived at the end of the wine cellar. It was converted into a small office. Mr.R raised his wand, and the light ball used for lighting hovered in the air.

He put the notepad on the table and stuffed his body into the armchair, "Just go, my friend, they have a lot to talk about."

Xing Ze didn't think so in his heart. He had too many questions that needed to be answered. He looked around cautiously, then pulled up a chair and walked on the opposite side of Mr. R.

"He knows that I have a lot of questions to ask, but before that, they have to complete the necessary procedures." The man took out a box from the drawer, he softly chanted a spell, and the three diamond-shaped crystals in the box immediately came to order. Xing Ze.

"Monitoring crystal," he introduced. "He thought I must have seen that thing with the Auror Inquisitor."

Xing Ze nodded: "They said that thing can record sounds and images, just like a Muggle camera. But he thinks those three crystals have more than just that use?" The three crystals circled around him, starting from the beginning. To the feet, keep going back and forth.

"I'm very smart, friend." Mr. R praised, "It's very embarrassing. He can't tell me their true purpose now. I will naturally know it when I officially become a member of their organization."

"So, is that from an interview with the Department of Mysteries?"

"Interview? Oh, I can understand that, or it can be regarded as a diagnosis."

"Diagnosis?" Xing Ze frowned, "Can you tell me what will happen?"

Mr.R replied seriously: "Unfortunately, if I am a loser, they will have to kill me."

Hearing that, Xing Ze frowned. He confirmed the red poplar wand hidden in Dong's sleeve and begged him to think that the wand could slide into his leg quickly.

"Don't be nervous, young man, he was joking." Mr. R once again smiled like a professional salesman, "Now, let them go back to the process. Did I bring Benson's wand?"

Xing Ze couldn't tell whether the other party was really joking. He suppressed the urge to cast a spell to escape from this place and took out the blackthorn wand with his other leg. He wants information, any information about the train attack.

"Can I let him see it? No, no, no, just put it on the table."

The wand was placed on top of a stack of books. Xing Ze caught a glimpse of the book at the top called "The Key to the Door". There was a strange golden symbol on the black cover.
