The Evil God of Hogwarts

Chapter 134 New Semester

The first thing after school started, Xing Ze found Clara Foy. This innocent and kind-hearted rune teacher was the most ideal translator he could find.

The two agreed to meet in the cafeteria during the lunch break.

"Oh, you came so early, sir." Foy sat opposite Xing Ze. She ordered a lot of things from the menu, the weight of which was probably worth two of Xing Ze's meals.

"I don't have classes during the day. Don't use honorifics to me, Miss Foy, it feels weird."

"Oh, okay." Foy's face was filled with a smile, and the girl had almost everything she was thinking written on her face.

"How was your Christmas?" Xing Ze greeted politely.

Unexpectedly, Foy talked about her Christmas trip seriously and showed no intention of stopping until the lunch she ordered came.

Xing Ze had no choice but to interrupt while she was drinking: "Miss Foy, I..."

"Just call me Clara. Oh, did you know? There are two Santa Clauses, one is called Saint Nicholas, the other is called Krampus..."

Xing Ze patiently listened to the story of the two Santa Clauses, and then found the right moment to interrupt again: "Miss Foy, I have something to trouble you with."

The cheerful girl raised her head, swallowed the bread in her mouth, and said: "Of course, I'm happy to help. Well, I mean, as long as I can do it. You know, I always... "

"No, no, don't underestimate yourself so much." Xing Ze smiled, "Let's get back to it. I would like to ask you to help translate a document. I think it should be written in runes."

"Well, it's not difficult. Can you let me see the documents?"

Xing Ze took out the copied copy from the ring. After he went back, he looked through Benson's notes. Only those few pages in the entire notebook were written in runes.

Foy reached out her hand, but pulled it back when she realized her hand had just taken the bread, wiping it quickly and deftly on her robe before taking the copy.

"I copied it down to make it more convenient. I hope you don't mind."

"No, no, when..." The girl's voice gradually became softer. She seemed to have changed into a different person, and she began to look at the copy seriously.

After a while, she said to herself in surprise: "This is not a rune."

"Huh?" Xing Ze put down the cup in his hand uneasily.

Foy raised his head and explained: "No, what I mean is that this belongs to runes. To be precise, it is ancient Fusak script, the oldest rune. And now, what we are learning is post-Fysac script."

Xing Ze was confused when he heard this, and he asked puzzledly: "So... can you translate it?"

The girl looked down at the copy again and muttered to herself again: "The grammar and alphabetical order are very different. Hmm - I need a big dictionary in ancient runic, and maybe an ancient Fussac." Chart……"

She muttered like this for a while, then raised her head and replied, "It shouldn't be a problem, but it will take some time."

"How long will it take at the latest?"

"A week, oh no, two weeks. And I have to translate them into English."

Xing Ze nodded. It did take a long time, but it was worth the wait. This period of time allows Edwin to decipher the content at the back of the note.

"If it's too much trouble..."

"That's not the case at all." Foy said as he stuffed the copy into his shoulder bag, "But if the translation is done, you have to treat me to a meal."

Looking at the food piled on the table, Xing Ze forced a smile and said: "Of course. Foy...ah no, Clara, this is between us, so..."

"Oh, I understand." The girl blinked and whispered, "In secret, right? Just like Gilderoy Lockhart's "A Voyage with the Vampire."

"Well, almost." Xing Ze reluctantly agreed. He had no idea what the book was about.

"You two, I hope I didn't disturb you." The familiar voice made Xing Ze's heart tighten, and Ali Shafiq stood quietly in front of the table.

She was wearing a violet robe today and a gray fur coat on top.

"Of course not." Foy fell down in surprise, "Sha...Miss Shafiq."

"Good afternoon, Miss Foy." Ellie greeted her friendly, then turned to look at Xing Ze.

"You can see your impatience with me from your face, Xing Ze."

"Really?" Xing Ze forced out a smile. Since the last time he met Albert, he had been avoiding Ellie as much as possible to avoid getting into trouble.

Ellie ignored Xing Ze's fake smile and asked Clara: "Can I sit here?"

“Of course, Miss.” Clara stood up and wanted to give up her seat.

"Sit down, Miss Foy." Ellie stretched out her hand to stop her. "I asked them to bring another chair. Compared to some men who are not gentlemanly, you can be called a role model."

Xing Ze shrugged his shoulders, looking helpless.

The house elf in the cafeteria brought an upholstered chair to the eldest lady and respectfully asked her what she would like to order.

Ellie ordered two portions of the most expensive Opera, and gave one to Clara. The girl was flattered and calmly pushed her bread aside.

"I don't know what conditions my father reached with you." Ellie sat down gracefully and leaned her back on the chair. "But I have to thank you. At least he is not so opposed to my investigation."

"Maybe it's just your father who changed his mind."

Ellie chuckled lightly, "I know my father. Like most people living in the wizarding world, he is old-fashioned, stubborn, and conservative. Oh, don't take it to heart, Miss Foy, I won't talk about you again."

Clara nodded bewilderedly, as if she had met her idol's fan girl, dazedly

"Except when he argued with my mother, he rarely changed his mind." Ellie finished her sentence.

"Okay." Xing Ze avoided eye contact, "Why did you come to me?"

"It's nothing, I just came to say hello." Ellie said, "After all, in the new semester, we may have more cooperation."

The dessert served by the house elf saved Xing Ze's life. He drank the last sip of tea and stood up in a hurry: "I remember that Professor Bubaji still needs my help with some things. I'm sorry I can't accompany you anymore. Clara, I'm waiting for your good news."

"Oh, of course, sir." Clara woke up from a dream, and she awkwardly retracted her gaze from Ellie.

When Xing Ze walked away, Allie looked at Clara with interest. Her amber eyes made the girl dare not look directly.

"Let's enjoy dessert, Miss Foy." Ellie said softly, "By the way, you can tell me what he wants you to do."
