The Evil God of Hogwarts

Chapter 102 Discharge

Hagrid, Ellie and Xing Ze were discharged from the hospital together. The three of them were invited out of St. Mungo's at the same time as if they had made an appointment.

"Would you like to go get something to eat?" Hagrid patted his belly. "The food at St. Mungo's is really unflattering. It's either a thin soup or a watery soup."

"Just in time, I'm hungry too." Ellie waved her hand and drove away the waiter who wanted to put her coat on.

She turned to look at Xing Ze, the young wizard was deep in thought. She was already used to it, because this man always seemed to be in a state of wandering mind.

"What did you say?" The eldest lady finally asked politely.

Xing Ze withdrew his gaze from a beggar on the opposite street, and subconsciously replied: "Okay."

When he completely woke up and regretted making this decision, the Thestral Carriage had already taken them to the Essex Hotel in Diagon Alley.

Xing Ze hesitated at the door whether to go in or not. After all, his reputation was not high here. It would be even more embarrassing if he met the hotel manager Ai Di'an.

But what he worried about did not happen, and Aedian's stupid smiling face did not appear at the front desk.

And the wizard guards at the hotel did not take out their wands the moment they saw him. What happened that night was like a dream.

"Do any of you have reservations?" Ai Di'an was replaced by a graceful lady.

The waiter - the Shafiq family's first footman - took out a delicate paper card from his pocket.

The moment the lady saw the card, the smile on her face became brighter. She walked out of the front desk and made a gesture of invitation.

"Please come this way, I will take you to a special private room."

Rich people, well, no, it's nice to have status. Xing Ze sighed in his heart.

Hagrid seemed a little reserved since he entered the hotel.

"Why are you so nervous, Hagrid." Ali Shafik, who was walking beside him, patted the hybrid giant's hand, "Relax, we are just here to have a meal."

"You know what we're here for." Hagrid laughed, his beard twitching. "I should change my clothes."

Ellie also laughed, "Me too, look, my clothes are still the same as when I was admitted to the hospital."

"If you need a change of clothes, I can get them for you, miss." the first male servant whispered.

"Shut up, William." Ellie glared at the manservant, "You don't need to worry about this."

The smile on the manservant's face did not change at all, and he replied respectfully: "Of course, miss."

The hotel manager chose a private room that was more private but spacious enough in accordance with Miss Shafiq's wishes.

Xing Ze ordered grilled steak, mashed potatoes and juice, while Hagrid ordered a stew, meat pie and spirits. At Ellie's suggestion, he added a roast leg of lamb.

As for the eldest daughter of the Shafiq family, she ordered a vegetable salad, sweet wine and fried fish, which was the cheapest among the three, not counting the series of desserts she ordered later.

"Go out, William, my friend and I need to talk alone." The eldest lady said to the manservant behind her.

"But..." William looked at the other two people in the private room worriedly.

For a family with a prominent reputation in the wizarding world, dining is also an important means of communication.

As the second daughter of the Shafiq family - Ali Shafiq - although not as important as her brother. But that doesn't mean that anyone without status or fame can dine with her.

In particular, the two people in front of them could not be called upper-class people in terms of clothing or appearance, and one of them was a mixed-race giant.

"I hate repeating, William, you know, especially I hate repeating myself." Ellie frowned and said, "Don't worry, no one knows about me except you, the coachman Crete, and the hotel staff. Who did you have dinner with today?

"So, this will not be a reason for others to laugh at the Shafiq family, unless someone wants to deliberately leak it, in which case..."

The eldest lady's face darkened, "If that's the case, I know who to go to."

"I'll go tell the hotel right now." The manservant, who suddenly understood, wiped the cold sweat from his forehead with his hand, and then hurried out of the private room.

"Please forgive me." As soon as he left, Ellie's tone softened a lot, "I didn't mean to do this."

Hagrid waved his hands indifferently and said: "No need to apologize, Ellie, I know you are not a mean person."

"Drink more, Hagrid." Ellie said. She turned to look at Xing Ze, "I hope you don't mind."

"Me? Oh, don't worry." Xing Ze shrugged, "I feel sad for William even more."

"Believe me, Xing Ze. This is good for him." Ellie picked up the water glass and took a sip. "He will one day serve other people, maybe my brother, maybe my sister. They are not as good as me. Good temper. When the time comes, he will pay dearly for his negligence."

You have really redefined what good temper means. Xing Ze secretly thought in his heart.

"I can see that you have some objections to what I just said." The eldest lady said coldly, "I pay money and you provide services. This seems to be an equal relationship, but it is not. You and I both know , isn’t it? Whether in the wizarding world or the Muggle world, money always dominates.”

"I think I misunderstood, Miss Shafik." Xing Ze replied sincerely, "If it weren't for you, I would have had lunch today at an inconspicuous small restaurant. I am lucky enough to be here with someone of your status. I am lucky to have a meal in such a noble place.”

"If I hadn't known that you are a person who is good at sarcasm, Xing Ze, I would have almost shed tears because of what I just said. Okay, we haven't even started drinking yet, so don't rush to sarcastic each other."

After a brief silence, Hagrid asked: "Did those therapists give you tests?"

"They did a lot of tests on me, which one are you referring to?" Ellie asked.

Hagrid thought for a moment and then named the tests as best he could, although he didn't get any of them right.

Ellie nodded, "We did it, we did it all. They said it was to prevent us from developing post-traumatic stress disorder in the future."

"Yes, that's the word. What does it mean?" Hagrid seemed to have found the key point of his question.

“Post-traumatic stress disorder occurs when an individual experiences, witnesses, or encounters one or more actual deaths, or threats of death, involving themselves or others…”

"Let you have fewer nightmares, Hagrid, it's that simple." Xing Ze interrupted Ellie's science popularization, and the latter frowned dissatisfied.

"Hahaha, then why do they spend so much effort? I always sleep well." The hybrid giant laughed loudly, "What a bunch of idiots."
