From the publication of the book on February 11, 2019, to the completion of the book on November 8, 2023, it took 4 years and 9 months, with a total of 7.12 million words. Keji can finally responsibly tell everyone that the book is complete.

Everyone must have seen that the final ending is open-ended, so we can only write about it so far.

As the saying goes, "There are a thousand Hamlets in the eyes of a thousand readers." Every reader who has followed the story of Lao Ma will have their own opinions on the story behind the open ending. Corgi does not define or impose it, as long as everyone feels that the story behind it is what they want.

Thinking about it carefully, there are indeed many bad things about Gangsu's book. Looking back now, I feel that it is not satisfactory.

However, I still continue to make progress and self-adjustment in my writing, and try my best to present a complete story to everyone.

This book does contain too many stories and all kinds of characters.

I’m not afraid of everyone’s jokes. The further Gang Su writes, the more difficult it becomes to write many plots. It’s not that the story can’t be written, but it’s the scenes of life and death and sadness that I find unbearable even when I write them.

Overturning the original tragic ending is probably the most important plot decision in Gangsu's book so far.

Although it is hardly perfect, it at least gave Lao Ma a comfortable old age.

Corgi promised everyone that "Natalia is the only designated true heroine" and Corgi did it. Corgi also tried his best to complete the promised ending of not killing anyone, not losing any of everyone's favorite characters, and giving a happy ending.

There is one more thing I can promise everyone here, just like Corgi promised that Gangsu would definitely finish the book and would never supervise this matter.

If there is a chance in the future, Gangsu will have a remake, and Lao Ma's story will be restarted and continued. And I will do my best to correct all imperfections and deficiencies, and present a more exciting and professional military story to everyone.

After much deliberation, that's all I have to say. Corgi is not a hypocritical person. He is the kind of person who just does what he does with the keyboard, so he won't say too many sensational words.
