Senpensekai no Madoushoshi

Section IX: The Three Adventurers

The Toslins headed to investigate the ruins, and had their fourth morning without returning.

Spending a sleepless night praying, waiting for the late sun to climb, I even spared time weaving my coat and jumped outside.

"Sister!? Where are you going so soon?!?"

The upstairs window opened, from which Sarah said so with a face. But I couldn't stop.

"Alliance!! Sorry Sarah!! I'll explain why later!!"

Anxiety that snowmelt water may be freezing cobblestones is not on my mind right now. I just wanted to jump into the guild as fast as I could for a second and make sure. Whether everyone is home or not.

"No, it seems that... you haven't returned yet..."

"... somthing..."

Listening to my sister at the reception, I darkened in front of her for a moment. Saluena supported me when I was about to fall out of a chair with no back.

"Lie... it's been three days since then..."

Since about yesterday morning, the color of concern had also begun to float in Saluena's face. But she usually hid it and kept encouraging me.

"... don't be too late for boulders"

But I heard the third unreturned report, and now I'm stifling my face.

"I'm also trying to get confirmation in the guild, but it's probably like being kept inside the ruins. And now there are no adventurers in this city who can explore the ruins… without confirmation. Sorry I can't help you."

"Yes, no...... I push you every day, and I'm sorry about this one..."

I guess you should just be thankful that you're trying to check on me for cheapness. When the Orange Rank Adventurer becomes an unreturned ruin, everyone steps on two feet. Even as a guild, you shouldn't want to invade the foolishness of sending low-level adventurers to places you know are such a danger.

"Iris. Let's get some rest. You'll be tired of running this far."

"Ugh, yeah...... Wow, okay..."

It was when I was sitting in a nearby chair with my body supported and taking a deep breath trying to calm down.

"Hey, you, come on, man."

Along with those words, I was lightly kicked about twice with Concon in the foot of the chair I had just sat in.

"Huh..."

"Come to the guild every day, every day. Are you that free? What about work?"

Standing ahead with her gaze turned was a brunette woman with brown skin covered with skin armor. The age would be the same as mine, or a little above.

There was another companion and a woman behind her like that, with a stern gaze on her. The guy wraps his robe around, but he's also brown and brunette. Are they sisters or something because they both have pale peach eyes?

"Wow, I..."

"I know you do. Are you waiting for those amazing adventurers?"

"Oh yes... but..."

When I said that and nodded, the man with the armor sighed loudly. He then narrowed the slit's eyes further and pierced me with a sharp gaze.

"You're blind, aren't you? Some adventurers want to use that place? Yet every day, every day, sitting in the way of nothing..."

"Oh, I'm sorry... I didn't mean to..."

I tried to stand in a hurry, but my body is starting to realize the tiredness I've been running, and my knees are laughing. The person sighed again when he saw it and went on in a togetherness tone to blame.

"Then what are you going to do? Are you gonna get along with that adventurer and brag about it? That's brilliant. You shouldn't hate me the most among adventurers."

"No, I just wanted to tell you something..."

It's a terrible misunderstanding. But objectively, there's probably something I can't help but think so. So I open my mouth to try to solve that misconception, but words are put on me, and weak people like me can't let me speak properly.

"Yes. Then I'll tell you. Then you don't have to come here anymore, do you? So what do I tell him? Can I write to you? I'll give you that. If you can't write, I can write for you instead."

The person did not even try to hide any dissatisfaction and said so with his arms around him. Same goes for the lady in the back mate...... no, a little different. Are you shitting your gaze from me rather than being irritated?

"... yes, no"

Wondering about it, I shook my head sideways. If you can't make the words sound satisfactory, at least just be clear about your attitude.

"Thank you kindly. But I'll tell them right away."

"Oh, my God! I'm telling you, you better stop it! I'm telling you because you don't seem to understand, but orange people are more amazing than you think. You and I live in a different world!"

Oh, I remember. This is the same person who said 'the world you live in is different' the morning the Toslins didn't come back.

I'll pull out my memories from a few days ago and match them with the faces I saw then. Yeah, probably the same. Not many people in this snow country have brown skin, so I kind of remembered it because it was unusual, face.

"Hey... Peach Shh!! I said apologize!? What are you doing threatening me!!"

"Huh?"

Now it was when I was thinking about how these people would understand, or what I would do if I went to the corner instead of explaining... etc. From the one at the table in the back, such a voice flew in.

"Beh, nothing. I didn't threaten you. Whoa! I just feel sorry for you coming in this cold every day so I just thought I'd tell you instead. Shh!!"

The Lord of that voice was likewise an adventurer who chanted his words at the entrance to the Alliance four days ago. I remember this guy vividly and well because he had impressive gray hair and blue eyes.

The man comes here with Tsukatsuka. Each time, the two brown women were barely pressured as if they had encountered a dragon.

"You too, Plumshees. I told you this morning, didn't I? If I don't apologize to her, I won't be partying with you anymore."

"... wait!! I'm trying to apologize. But Peach Seeds never shuts me up, so it's time to speak up..."

"Oh, even though it's my fault!?"

"Yeah, it's your fault. Yo! I've been waiting a long time because you said it was from me at first..."

"Oh, um... uh..."

Is that what the robe lady was doing with her butt somehow? You've been waiting for a chance to talk to me?

"Standing there stands in the way of the others. Choose whether you want it done quickly or leave."

Said Saluena without fear of anything when she couldn't keep up with the unfolding and was horny.

"Ah..."

So I, and they, realize that we're blocking our way. Then the woman, called Peach Seeds, pointed to the chair next to me.

"Holy shit, here... can I sit down?"

"Oh, yeah... go ahead. Not to mention, it's not my seat either, so if you don't mind Mr. Plumshees, please stay where it's open..."

"Yes, well, sweetened by your words..."

... so before I knew what it was, the table for five was filled by me, Saluena, and a threesome of adventurers.
