Section 1: Outside the Window * Illustrations Available

When you open the window, it's a silver world on one side. Cold outside air enters the room like a toon in the back of my nose hurts.

This is a rural town called Refront. Auschnell, one of the countries present in the Fandelusian continent. The town is about 10 days west of Auschnell Tsari, its king's capital, by carriage.

This town is full of green nature in summer and brick landscapes, but unfortunately now it's covered in bright white snow. There is a lake in the center of town, and on a beautiful day, you can see people sitting on the edge of the abyss and dripping fishing lines in the ice crevices.

Even when it comes to the lake, it's a small 30-minute walk around, so the people who live in this town are attached to it and call it Riff Long (Fairy Tears), which is the name of the town as it is.

I am now upstairs in the shining female bird pavilion, the only inn in this town. The cold but fresh air flowing in through the window was sucked all over his chest and stretched greatly.

"Yikes! Huh!"

Then I hear a healthy voice from the outside. I wondered what it was and I rode myself out the window and looked down, and there was a girl with silver hair running around on the snow with corn. He holds a snowball in his hand and throws it happily and makes it repeatedly.

Her name is Caroteil. I call it Carol. Half a man, half a beast, of a species called Warwolf, plus a half with humans. Every time his fuzzy ears and tail shake, he quickly moves left and right with his handsome feet, squirming the flying snowman.

"Don't hit me. Don't hit me. No! Yah, blunt-footed elves. Huh!

"Mm-hmm. Here!

Then a big snowman flew in with a sharp fury from the other side. Unable to avoid it by surprise, Carol fell back in a decent face.

"Haha, so come on. Say blunt legs. You're not the best."

There's a woman there with a stomach to laugh at. Sleek, long, golden hair. A beautiful person who even I, the woman, fall in love with at a mundane moment.

His name is Tosliln F. Iriburg, and we call him Toslin. Carol used to call me an elf about Toslin, but this is about the race. Just like Carol is a half-man and a half beast, Toslin is also an elf, born of a species a little different from Hulia, who is everywhere on the continent like me. Longevity, beauty, white skin and slightly longer ears are the common pedigree characteristics of elves.

"Hey, that's a disobedience now! What's that stupid big snow? I didn't know for a second!

"Shut up. It's your fault you're alarmed, isn't it?

"Mm-hmm! One more turn! Let's play another game!

That's what Carol says, throwing snowmen at Toslin again.

"Well, well, you're both well"

I accidentally had a fluffy and soft voice and I glanced next door. He stares at the two snowball fights with the same gentle eyes as his voice.

"That's right. Ugh, it's cold...... You can get out a lot on a day like this."

They just opened it for a little ventilation, but the warm air in the room was taken away, and it was cold.

Yes, yes. If you're next door to this, say Rosalis Coolbacor of Hulia, the best sister of us who turned 20 before this. By the way, Carol is 14. Toslin is 18 years old.

Mr. Rosalis...... I call him Mr. Rosé, but he's a cleric belonging to a church called the Ecclesiastical Church of Illua.

To become a cleric, you must first enter the monastery. And pray for the goddess every day there, and do good deeds to the people in the name of the goddess. Apparently, the goddess has seen all of their deeds, and only those recognized by the goddess can become priests. And he said he would be able to perform numerous miracles. So anything with an evil heart can never be a cleric... it seems.

Mr. Rosé always has a gentle smile on his face. It's been almost six months since I've seen this man in this town, but Nico, Nico, Nico, all the time. So naturally I got nicked even though I was nothing either. He has very beautiful long, fluffy peach hair.

"Doesn't Mr. Iris play outside?

"And it's outrageous. What's so fun and so cold out there... and I'm not that old anymore, and I only read books on days like these when I'm gobbling around the stove"

"Ugh. You really like books, don't you, Mr. Iris?"

"Ha... Well, you're the daughter of a bookstore. I was a book bug when I realized it."

Later, my name is Iris Calvafon. For generations, my ancestors, he was 16 years old, in the family pattern of righteous commoners, and is now the store number of the family bookstore.

That said, I can't go home from now on, and I've been taking care of this shining female pavilion for six months.

When I closed the window and lowered my hips in front of the stove with the book, Carol came in full of snow along with a shitty noise called dopapan.

"Hey, hey! Surrender, surrender!

"Ugh! I'll sneak you in your back, too, so get ready!

Then Toslin showed up and grabbed Carol's root with his right hand. Because the left hand side is served with a memory and a mountain of snow, which I stuck inside Carol's clothes...

"Ahhhhh!

Carol rolls around on the floor with a gobble.

"Huh. If I punish you for this, you won't think to beat me until you use your cowardly hands."

It's bad for Carol, but it's kinda funny how she hits the snow cold.

"Hey, Iris, I just laughed! You can't hide it in a book. I was just watching you, Atashi!

"Haha. Oh, no. That's not true. I just thought you were fine."

I panic and drop my eyes on the book, but I can see Carol staring at me all the time. Mmm, something to lose. If I put my eyes together here, I'm sure I'm impatient to burst into laughter.

"Well fine...... More than that, why don't the Iries go outside every once in a while? You haven't been out of this room for the last three days or so."

In front of the firewood stove, Carol said as she took off her wet jacket. Come on, don't make it easy for me to get naked because I only have women here, please.

"I'm fine. I have a book I borrowed from the library."

Although small, there was also a library in this town. I borrowed the book together a few days ago, but if I finish reading this I have to return it. Naturally, but it's a bit of a pain in the ass because my parents wouldn't have to do that. As you can see from that, I basically have a goofy personality.

"With that said, the adventurer's body is the capital, right? If you hadn't moved it from day to day, it'd be gone soon, wouldn't it?

"No, but... I'm not an adventurer like everyone else."

Yeah, well, Toslin, Carol, and Rosé are officially recognized adventurers. There are people from different professions in this world, and for each profession there is a gathering across the hedge of the country, or something like a cooperative. Adventurers refer to all of their cooperatives involved in monster exorcisms and site surveys.

That was never the case in the past, but now this cooperative manages requests in bulk, from monster exorcisms, to site surveys, to sold-out and VIP protection. In that way, a system can be put in place whereby an adventurer who is registered with the union performs the request in exchange for a reward.

Adventurers are licensed by their respective cooperatives and must undergo regular renewal procedures. Technically, Mr. Rosé, a cleric, is not an adventurer, but he's in a collaborative relationship with the Illuan Episcopal Church and this cooperative, which means he's an adventurer.

But I'm not. I'm the daughter of a bookstore, and I just don't have such a license, or the strength to beat a difficult journey.

"What are you talking about? You've been following us many times already."

Toslin says in a sigh mix.

"Hehe, right. Mr. Iris seems really interested in the outside world."

"You're reading it now anyway. It's an adventurous novel, right? I don't know because I can't read."

As Carol pointed out, what I'm reading now is the adventure of this Auschnell founder Lano Route as a hero who was actually traveling this world about a thousand years ago now. Famous tale of taking advantage of the protection of the goddess Ilua and defeating the head of the demon, the pitch-black dragon. It's a book so loved by people in this country that I don't know how many times I've read it myself.

"Ugh, you know... Lano Route Adventure Tan, Chapter V. It's an encounter between the goddess of light and the brave..."

I only had a lot of time because of the one thing I said earlier, so I wanted to immediately experience the adventurer's life even though I knew I shouldn't, and the three of them invited me to follow them. But it's just actually useful or it's only getting on my feet. Still, these three inspired me and it was very hard, but I could have had more time than that. The air, taste, smell, and sound that you can't taste in a book. Everything was fresh, yes...... funniest to say the least.

"Oh, good. More than that, why don't we have lunch? If I was dealing with Carol, I'd be hungry."

"Oh, I agree. Atashi was just about to say it too, wasn't he? After all, there's something that fits right in with you."

"Shut up, don't stick around... I mean, first you get dressed"

It seems that Toslin and Carol had an adventure journey together long before they met me or Mr. Rose in this town. Seeing it this way, the race is so different. It's like a sister, and it can be flattering to me that I haven't seen my sister in my hometown in six months. Plus I'm my oldest daughter, so I wish I had a beautiful sister like Toslin...... whoa, I shouldn't.

"Shall we go, then?"

When I spoke to Rosé that way, Rosé seemed to have a warm smile on her face as if she were seeing through my heart like that.

"Yeah, let's come."

Thus we headed to the dining room on the ground floor of this inn.

This brilliant female bird pavilion is cut up with a damsel named Mertalia and a part-time Hurrian girl named Chalri. There are four tables in total. In the evening, the villagers would come and have a drink, but sometimes it's lunch, and we're the only guests. The fire burned in the fireplace bursts into a patch, adding to the overall warmth of the wooden room and making it feel multiple times warmer.

"Oh, Charlie, are you there?

Since the first time I met Chalri, I've been very close to him because I sometimes feel the same age.

"Yahoo, line up. I don't know what to do."

A red-haired girl came out of the back of the store. This child is Chalri. It's a nostalgic personality, and I care about him, but secretly I think he's a charm point.

"Oh-hey Iris. What are you staring at? I don't care how much I'm cute. I'm not glad you fell in love with me."

"Huh? Oh, I'm sorry. Uh, uh..."

I panic and glance at a menu written on paper. That said, I don't have that many items, and I've been going through them every day for nearly six months now, so the obvious menu is in my head.

"Nah. Because if you're a pretty girl like Iris, you're perfectly fine, me."

"What? I bake barbato herbs."

Barbato is a species of pig that lives extensively in the Fandelusian continent today and is very soft and delicious. I have a bit of a habit, but when I bake it with vanilla, I don't care at all. I sprinkled it with coarse salt and it was cooked. And I sprinkled lemon juice on it, and it's already excellent. It's so delicious that it just reminds me to twist my mouth.

"It's already lit up. All right, it's me and Iris. Let's get you some bread and drinks."

"So what? I mean, bread and drinks come from the beginning, right?"

"Then I guess I'll do that too"

"Well, that's what I'm asking you to do,"

When Toslin and Mr. Rose said so, Carol raised her hand at the end.

"Well, no Atashi...... Barbato Grilled with Vanilla"

"Aren't we together? Oh, I don't want you to get bogged down anymore. I'm tired too."

"Eh heh. I like Atashi, Toslin, who goes in there and says something about it."

"I like it and I don't want to do it."

That said, Toslin smashed Carol's forehead.

"Ok ok. Four vanilla roasts. Wait a minute. Because I'll make it right away and bring it to you. Carol's fine with the usual juice, right?

"Boo-hoo! I'll treat you like a child. Let Atashi drink too."

Carol protests by inflating her cheeks.

"Haha, 'cause you're actually a kid!

By the way, 14-year-old Carol can't drink because he's been allowed to drink in this country since he was 16. Me and Toslin only drink at the festive table or so, and Mr. Rose drinks for religious reasons all the time is juice, but what I just did was promise to be exchanged between just one child, Carol, and Charlie in this.

Chalri disappeared into the back of the store as she rocked her adorable frilly skirt.

"Still, it's loaded a lot, snow. Play or not, it won't decrease at all."

Carol shrugged with her gaze at the window.

"Right. Was it about a week ago the last time I got down? Well, you're gonna get just the right bone break. I've been a little busy."

"But we're fine, but Mr. Iris is in a bit of trouble, isn't he?"

Mr. Rose looks at me and looks worried. I said something earlier, but the snow can be deeply involved in this.

"haha... well, I can't help it all..."

My birthplace, the town, is about three days ahead of here rocked by a carriage. But the streets are blocked for this snow. And on top of that, you can't even come out to a high-level monster on the way to the village that won't be in style called a dragon, so you can't go home.

"Why did Iris come to this town in the first place? You said something before, didn't you? Delivery?"

"Yeah. To deliver the book to the general here... I mean, I've said it many times, so don't be shy, Carol."

"Haha, I'm sorry. Well, then my parents must be worried."

"You've been in touch, haven't you? Even so, I haven't seen her in six months, so I'm worried about her."

Toslin groans with his cheek cane. Sure, Toslin should have parents, too, but this is how she travels, and in her case, it doesn't seem like we're talking about six months.

"Yeah. For once... I'm asking the general to send me a letter,"

It is not uncommon for the streets to close in the winter in the villages around here, flying the birds they have grown accustomed to and telling each other about recent developments. Plus I have my letters mixed up, and then I have a couple of brush exchanges. Of course, you haven't touched on anything about me being with an adventurer and keeping up with what might or even adventure.

"Come on now, don't be an adventurer like this. So, why don't you join us down south? It's warm, huh?

"Oh, it sure was good over there. It doesn't snow, my hands don't get cold."

You're thinking of the scene then, Toslin and Carol narrowing their eyes and sighing or something. I know the southern lands are warm, but I've never actually been there. Because the majority of the knowledge stuck in my head comes from books.

"Heh, yeah. I've never been south of here..."

"It's very warm. I also preached in a harbour town called Triton before I met you six months ago, where the sun was as strong as it was all summer..."

"Heh, I've been to Rosé too. Nice place, huh? My hair hurts a lot."

"Oh, sure, that's a little... Your hair's gonna stick after a day, isn't it? I wonder why."

"Come on... I've heard the salt of the sea has something to do with it... more details..."

Mr. Rose and Toslin look at me. Mostly, this is how you talk and you can gaze at me for something you don't understand.

"Hey, do you know why Iris is?

And here's what happens.

"Well, that's why I've never been..."

"But you know that, right?

Even Carol stares at me with anticipation. Carol's eyes feel so beautiful, really, a hunk of curiosity.

"The salt in the wind is taking away moisture from my hair. It was in the book I read before. I don't know if it's true."

"Oh, yeah."

"Look, I knew you knew. That's the bookmaster. Walking library."

"Even if it happens. I don't even know everything."

"But when you're with Mr. Iris, you kind of rely on me, don't you? I'm sorry..."

When I can turn my troubled face to Mr. Rosé, I can't say anything more. It's not that I don't like it. That's about it if I can help everyone, so if this makes you happy, that's fine. But... I still feel lonely somewhere. They seem to remind me that I am a normal woman everywhere, with no strength or strength compared to everyone else.

"But there's really something like that, isn't there? I grew up around here long after I was born, and for me, it's just the world in the book, so I kind of don't feel it."

"What, you interested? That's right. I'm more curious than Atashi. The book won't even tell you how it feels."

"Beh, I'm not as interested..."

Honestly, I envy you. That you can choose where you want to go freely and choose your way of life. But I can't help but look at Carol that it can be unfortunate in a way.

"Come on, don't get Iris in too much trouble."

"'Cause come on..."

Pocari and Toslin hit him in the head and Carol pointed his lips. Carol, who is cute and a little busy, is half a beast, that other half. Now is the time to be recognised for your rights as a person, but there is a past where you were treated as a monster. As a result, they continue to be discriminated against and harassed by people who are still uncomfortable.

"Hmm? What's up, Iris? You're thinking again."

Carol notices my gaze and puts on my neck. Toslin's story says Carol's parents were killed by people's hands and had to choose the path to live as adventurers. Think of it. I have parents, and how happy I am to have a hometown.

"You're welcome. Shining Female Bird Pavilion Specialty, Barbato Grilled with Vanilla for Four"

"Hichaho. Garlic ~"

Carol makes her eyes shine when she sees a plate of meat on it that Charli brings. I wonder how much hatred this girl has had in her body by the time it's so funny.

"Hey, don't be too shabby, mindless"

"Eh. Fine. That means you can eat meat every day, right?

But I'm sure you'd laugh if you told Carol this. Because she...

"Hey."

Second, a knife poked me in the tip of my nose.

"Wow!"

I was so surprised that I was about to fall out of my chair.

"Hey, what are you doing, you idiot? Ha!"

Spacorn and Toslin snap Carol's head off.

"Oh, no! 'Cause the Iries have been bawling since just now. If you don't eat fast, it's gonna get cold, right?

"That's why there's a fool poking a knife! I'm sorry, Iris."

"Ugh, yeah I'm fine...... Think about it..."

My chest still hurts from time to time. Toslin and Carol are talking to each other across the table. Rosé watches with a quiet smile where she could have been a step. I kind of went crazy and laughed out. Yes, a girl named Carol doesn't let people think about cuyo-kuyo stuff, she has that vibe.

I said, "Hey, I don't care. I made it because of you. Please hurry up."

"Oh, come on, it's a noise from noon."

When Chalri snapped into a sigh mix, one woman was in there with a laugh from the store entrance.

"Ahhh, samsung. Charlie, I'm sorry, but can you go in the back and boil me some hot water?

"Yes, sir. Ma'am, it's all yours."

Charli walks into the back of the store. It is the woman who breathes heavily with her snowy head and shoulders who is cutting this inn and tavern up, Mertalia, that person. Elf woman with blue eyes on long wavy blonde. I've never heard of age, but according to Toslin in the same elf, 100 would be over excellent. I was supposed to come to this town in the first place because this guy ordered a book from a bookstore run by my house. On the other hand, he cuts up a liquor store with the strength of a man's face-losing temper, a bit of a stranger to even read a little difficult book.

"Toslin, just in time, I got a job."

"Uh... I just finished this last case. What?"

"Don't you complain? Just thank you for having a job this winter."

Where we are doing the meat, the general comes.

"So, where the hell did it come from?"

"It's from your guild. You're the only warrior in this town right now, so do me a favor, okay?

"Ahhh. I thought it was a good bone break because of you"

"You can help people, so it's more of a pleasure, Toslin"

"Ha, Rosé's good, right? That's how I think about it. Oh, no. Copy that. Money is important. I'll make it when I can."

"You'll hear more from the Alliance later. Oh, yeah, yeah, and one more thing."

"You still got something?

"Iris, it's something to do with you, but maybe we can close the blockade on the streets, unblock it?

"To?"

I'm flabbergasted by words I don't even think about. It looks like we're all in this together, and we look each other in the face.

"Hey, why? There's still got to be a dragon on the way to the town of Isles, right? Were you somewhere?

To Carol's enquiry, the general laughed uncomfortably, not wearing her body.

"Everything seems to be on a dragon crusade with that brave man who draws Langloot's blood."

"Uh... Lano Loot says that... he exorcised the Dark Dragon with the goddess Ilua... you know?

My voice trembles naturally. Those who draw the blood of such a legendary being come near here...... That's very, very amazing.

"I don't know, but that's what the guild guy said. It's been six months since you've been here, but maybe it's time to keep up the good work."

When the general said so, she winked patchy.

"Good for you, Iris"

When I met him in the eye, Toslin said so with a laugh.

"When it comes to the descendants of Lanorout, you're Oliva, the current king here in Auschnell. And then they say there's a weak-crowned 17-year-old named Achel, his son, if he's going to come here. Is it the latter?"

A thousand years ago, there was a time when the power of Ilua, the goddess who united the world, was weakened. At that time, the animals and spirits who regained their appearance in the old world, the world of Original Plains, became ferocious and became monsters and attacked people. Lanolut, the son of the blacksmith, with his own forged sword, exorcised the Dark Dragon, king of the Original Plains, who had led the monster. We call this war the Battle of Illua. And Lanorut aroused the country around the castle that the dragon was rooting for. The name of that country is Auschnell. This country, which bears the name of the defeated dragon, has since been ruled by the descendants of Lanolut.

"Oh, I've heard rumors about Achel. You broke a mountain through the sky with a swing of a sword, or you wiped the clouds away from a town where 100 years of rain kept swinging? The rest looks amazing. I've heard stories about being proposed by a prince of that country who made a mistake with a woman when he saved some country before."

"Atashi, I think the last story is creativity... hmm? Does that mean the future king is coming here?

When Carol looked so surprised, Mr. Rose nodded with a calm expression.

"Not here, but maybe you can stop by"

"Everything, Goddess. They've ordered you to be brave immediately. Absolutely, thank you. The streets have been sealed off for a long time."

When the general said so, Mr. Rosé was nodded heavily.

"Goddess, I thank you for your merciful willingness"

"Okay, bye... go check it out? It's rare to see a dragon being defeated, isn't it?

When Carol said so, shaggy, Toslin fed the chop to its head.

"That's why you weren't listening. We have work to do."

"He said it was from the guild... but Toslin is from the warrior guild, right?"

The guild, as I explained a little earlier, brings people from the same profession together to help each other, also known as cooperatives. I forgot to tell you, Toslin is a Warrior Guild, Carol hasn't been made public, but he seems to be a member of the Bandit Guild. We just talked about the alliance between the guild and the Ilure Episcopal Church, but rumors have it that its relationship with this bandit guild doesn't apply. It doesn't seem to matter how much I watch Carol and Mr. Rose every day like this, but it's an organization, so I guess there are a lot of difficult circumstances.

"Yeah, I am. When you're in the guild, it helps that you don't have enough food, but it's hard not to pick a time."

"Uh-huh. Let's go see the dragon."

"Are you still saying that? Let's go somewhere like that, we'll be wiped out by the blow of a dragon. Don't tell me you throw up in flames."

"You can come from far away. Come on. I'd like to see a brave man once."

"Look at that. What are you going to do? Don't be selfish, if you eat this, I'll take care of it."

"Toslin's Ketty"

Carol gets bugged by a toslin without an island to mount. Toslin, who was about to cheek the meat, frowned on this.

"Holy shit! You don't have a choice. It's my job!

"Well, well, don't you two fight"

Mr. Rose breaks in between the two you grabbed. Well, Carol can't actually be the right fit for Toslin, so if you leave it alone, nature and Carol will be screwed over and quiet.

"Well, Toslin come on"

"Because you say things you can't hear! If you want to go see so much, you can go alone. Come on!

"If you do that, Toslin, you'll be lonely and unable to sleep at night."

"Hey, come on, silly! Damn, you didn't say anything stupid. Eat up."

We slept together for six months, and there's one thing I found out. That means Carol's words aren't all jokes. Toslin is always with Carol, and he's mostly with me to get anywhere.

That's also because Carol is following Toslin around, but as soon as he can't see Carol, he starts twitching and looking for Carol. I don't know why I said it, but there's no way these two are going to act apart for a long time. Kind of like a friendly cat, I think.

"That's a nice face. Iris?"

"Huh?

When I realized, Toslin was looking at me. No heart or dye those white cheeks red. Here's the thing, I think Toslin is cute, but I don't have the courage to say that directly to him.

"Hey, it's nothing, huh? Really."

I rush away and carry the meat to my mouth. Yeah, yum. I can't resist the juiciness of this meat.

"Ha... so? What are you gonna do?"

I coughed up in the light, and Toslin asked me that.

"Speaking of Mr. Eichel's recent rumors, do you think he defeated the first giant in the land at the end of the west? If he's here, it's only a matter of time before he's defeated, no matter how dragon."

"That sounds like one of the lowest species in the dragon to me. But it's too strong for us."

The case dragon is a small, weak category among dragons when it comes to lesser dragons. Still, the level, which is the degree of strength, is superior to 35. Carol is five, by the way. Toslin is six, even the oldest Mr. Rose is seven. Together, Toslin says he can't win a party battle to the point where he can finally reach half of it.

This level is used as a guide to strength in adventurers, and they can measure it in the temple. Bookmaster, by the way, because I am the daughter of a bookstore. Level one. Naturally, I have no combat skills.

"Iris will be with you, hey"

Carol keeps kicking my tibia under the table with tricks.

"Uh... so, but... You could be pulling your legs like you did before..."

Before this, like I said, when I followed them. The monsters attacked the livestock, so the Toslins undertook that crusade, and besides, they were going to take me with them.

But when it comes to what I did, it's just about getting away. I was just really watching everyone fight while Gortmund protected me. Oh, Goltmund is an animal raised by Mr. Rose...... leave that alone now, and everyone inspired me to say that there was such a time for me, too, but that's when I felt sorry for it.

"That doesn't matter, does it? Toslin?"

"Right. I don't care. I've known from the beginning that Iris wasn't fit for battle."

"Ugh..."

Toslin just said that in return, laughing.

"But there are a lot of things that would help if Mr. Iris were here. In me and elsewhere, it's not exactly Mr. Iris' knowledge."

"Yes, yes. If it's a fight, let Toslin and Rosé take care of it. Come on, so let's go together. Otherwise, who's going to cook us some of the Atashi's rice?

"Can you take your head off eating and talk?"

Toslin stares at me sighing.

"But, well, it's true that you say it helps. Oh, it's a meal or something, isn't it? A lot of things... really, a lot of things, to be helpful... so... If you like... I want you to come with me."

"This is what Toslin, the shy one who looks like, says."

"Ugh!

I wish I'd kept my mouth shut. It would tear her up, so Carol was hit in the back of the head as much as she wanted by Toslin.

"Wow! I said... what the hell! You violent elf!

"Shut up, little wolf."

"Don't call me a chick! Even if it looks like this, it would be amazing if you took off your balls."

"That was amazing. You don't have to try it. Come on, eat the meat."

"Yeah, eat"

Honestly, my longing for adventure pushes my back, even though I know it's going to be everyone's foot job. Even if that's what you're using, it's a big adventure for me when I was born and never left my hometown.

"Ho, really... I don't know... Because I... really can't do anything..."

"It's premature to decide that for yourself. I'm telling you I can help."

"Heh heh, right. Mr. Iries, would you like to come back with us?

"Let's go. Let's go! It's settled, isn't it? It's settled!

Carol jumps with the meat in her mouth.

"First of all, I can ask for this guy's amulet if you're here."

Toslin grabbed Carol's root and let him sit in a chair with a toss.

"Hey, what! But well, the Iries don't get angry right away like Toslin, so they're more welcome."

Carol laughs as she eats meat that looks delicious.

"Pfft. That's what they say, so why don't you think about it, Mr. Iries?"
