This year passed very quickly and was very long.

I originally wanted to say something directly in the author's words, thank you all for your support, and wish you all a happy new year, but after thinking about it, I decided to post a single chapter.

Because everyone deserves it.

Anyone who has followed Lao Huan's book knows that Lao Huan's mother fell ill this year and basically spent the first half of the year seeking medical treatment. This also caused me to update from only two updates a day to weekly or even half-monthly updates.

But what I saw was not complaints and ridicule, but support and encouragement throughout the article.

To be honest, when sitting on the cold plastic chair outside the operating room, or under the drip stand in the oncology ward, those are the few things that can warm Lao Huan.

Really appreciate everyone.

Although the disease settled down in the second half of the year, and my mother only needed regular check-ups, the fear of recurrence haunted me almost all the time.

I have fantasized a lot, and I also understand a saying, parents are the curtain between you and death.

At several moments this year, Lao Huan felt that the curtain was being lifted.

Fortunately, 2021 will eventually pass, and everyone and I will face the unknown 2022.

In the new year, I hope that my mother will be safe and happy, and create a healing myth that is not uncommon but mostly only in legends. I also hope that other family members are well and well.
