Journey of the Infinite Wizard

Chapter 472: The Prophecy of the North

The family massacre in Okuolongdi caused heavy casualties to the Teleri tribe. Ouwei, in grief and indignation, could only turn to Oxie for help, but got no response. The Vera do not allow gods to participate, and Maier is also among them. They are secondary gods subordinate to the Vera! Uni wept for the sailors of the Teleri, and the sea was wrathful against the murderers, and many ships were broken by the raging waves. All the people on board were also buried at the bottom of the sea. About the kin killing that took place in Okolongdi, there is a more detailed description in the lament "Noldolanti" - The Fall of the Noldor.

Even so, most of the Noldor escaped, and when the storm passed, they went on. Some traveled by water, others by land. However, the further they went, the more dangerous the road ahead became. After many dark nights they had marched, they came at last to the northern border of the fortified realm, where mountains and cold stood on the bare and desolate frontier of Ariman. There they suddenly saw a black figure standing on a high rock overlooking the whole coast.

Some say it was Mandos himself, and Manwë could not have sent a greater herald. They heard a loud and formidable voice ordering them to stop and listen. Then all stood still, and all the multitude of the Noldor, from one end to the other, heard the curse and the prophecy spoken by the voice, which was afterward called the Prophecy of the North, Also known as "The Doom of the Noldor". The prophecy was dark and obscure, and the Noldor did not understand it then, until the woe befell them; but all who heard the curse neither postponed nor sought their fate. And Vera's forgiveness.

"You shall shed many tears, and the Valar shall surround Valinor, and you shall be shut out forever, and not even the echo of your lamentation shall pass through these mountains. The wrath of the Valar shall be upon the House of Ferinor, and all the multitudes that followed him from the west to the end of the east. The oath they swore would drive them, and at the same time betray them, and even deprive them of that treasure which they swore to recover. Doing things will end in disaster and evil in the end; relatives have betrayed each other, and live in constant fear of being betrayed, all this will surely happen. The Fernor family will be forever displaced, deprived and deprived."

"You have shed the blood of your relatives in an unrighteous way and defiled the land of Aman. Therefore, the blood is repaid. After you leave Aman, you will live under the shadow of death. and no disease shall afflict you, yet you shall be slain, and you shall be slain: by the sword, or by torment, or by mourning; your wandering souls will return to Mandos, and live there year after year, yearning for your lost bodies, and will never find mercy, even if all those you killed pleaded for you. As for those who still live in Middle-earth , those who have not come to Mandos will grow weary with the age of the world, as if weighed down by a thousand catties; Phantom of remorse. Thus say the Valar."

The curse of the Valar was prophesied, and many people became frightened and depressed, but Ferno continued to move forward with determination. But Feinarfin gave up at that moment and chose to turn back. His heart was full of remorse and resentment towards the Ferno family, because Ouwei of Okulongdi was his father-in-law. Many people followed him back, walking back step by step full of sadness. Until they returned to Valinor again, and they were forgiven by the Villas. Feinarfin took over the responsibility of governing the remnants of the Noldor in Valinor, but his sons did not choose to turn back, but continued to follow.

At last the Noldor came to the extreme north of Arda, and they first saw the fangs of ice floating on the sea, and knew that they were approaching the Strait of Sircarisi. No body of flesh and blood has yet dared to walk among them,

Apart from Valar, only Ugoliant passed.

Felno, therefore, had to pause, and a party of the Noldor began to argue which way they should now take. But at the same time they also began to suffer the pain of cold, and the stagnant fog completely obscured the possibility of seeing the stars in the sky; They cursed Fernor, and held him to be the cause of all the troubles of the Eldar. Fernor also knew what the crowd was whispering, and he summoned his sons to counsel; and to escape from Ahriman to Sicir, they saw only two ways to go—by crossing the strait, or by boat.

But they had too few ships, and lost part of them in a storm at sea. The remaining ships could not carry everyone away at once, and because of the prophecy of betrayal, the Noldor now did not feel at ease letting others board the ship and waited where they were. In the end, Ferno decided to abandon Fingolfin and his party and leave by boat. Because, the control over the fleet is still in his hands. And the oarsmen who steered the boat have always been his loyal confidants. They boarded the boat first without telling Fingolfin, and abandoned Fingolfin and his party.

At last they landed in the Firth of Drengist, deep into the mountains of Ered Lomin, at the mouth of Rothgar on the north shore, and ordered the white ships of Teleri to be burned. The beautiful white ship was burned like this, and the violent and terrifying fire dyed half of the sky red. Fingolfin and his men knew they had been betrayed when they saw the red lights flickering under the clouds in the distance. This was the first bitter fruit of "kinslayer" in the "doom of the Noldor."

So, Fingolfin understood that Feernor had abandoned them to Ariman, leaving them to fend for themselves, or return to Valinor full of pain and embarrassment; but now he wanted to find a way to Middle-earth as never before, Want to see Ferno again. So he and a large number of followers embarked on a long and tragic journey. Their bravery and perseverance increased with the difficult environment; Sons and daughters of the living and immortal, and they had just left the blessed land, and were not yet weary with Arda's old age.

A fire was burning in their hearts, and led by Fingolfin and his sons Finn Rod and Galadriel, they dared far into the frigid North; Through the terrible Circassian Strait and cruel icebergs. Of all the exploits that the Noldor later performed, few surpassed this fortitude and pain. Turgon lost his wife Ellenve, and many others; and when Fingolfin at last set foot on the opposite land, his followers were far fewer. Those who came ashore later loathed Fernor and his sons; they sounded the clarion call to the land of Middle-earth when the moon first rose.

After the Noldor were exiled from Valinor and came to Middle-earth. In Valinor the Valar were gathered together, and they sat still for a long time in their thrones on the judgment circle. But they are not what Fernor claimed when he was stupid, just sitting there idly in a daze. For the handling of many things, the Veras can only use their brains but not their hands, and they can communicate with each other without opening their mouths. The Maiers also have this ability, and the mighty Kundi also has this ability.

Therefore, in dark Valinor they stayed awake all night, and their minds went to and fro through Asia, to the ends of the universe; sadness. They mourned the loss of Felnor more than the death of the Two Trees. After all, among Kundi, from their awakening to their settlement in Valinor until now, there have only been two such amazing geniuses!

Yiningville and Ferno!

The two Kundi are the strongest and the best in mind and body. They are the most heroic, most enduring, most handsome, most intelligent, most talented, most energetic, most quick-witted Kundi. The Valar have never seen such an excellent life in any creature. As for what happened to Ferno, there is no doubt that it was a sinful thing that Melkor did when he was raging. His departure and his "fall" made the Villa feel sad. It can be said that the departure of such an excellent Kundi made Valinor even darker, and also damaged the vitality of Aman Continent! Likewise, to the slight satisfaction of the Valar, Yinenville was not bewitched by Melkor. Nor did he listen to Melkor's rumors, let alone be shaken.

Even, at the moment when the Two Sacred Trees were pushed down, he repelled the two powerful enemies in one fell swoop with courage that shocked the Villars. It bought precious time for the Villars, and at the same time kept the light of the Twin Sacred Trees! He is worthy of the title of Iluvita's children. With his wisdom and force, he defeated Melkor's conspiracy! Save the glory that belongs to Valinor! This is also something that comforts the Villas, but the departure of Ferno is always a thorn in the hearts of the Villas! It is said that when the envoy of Manwe came back to make a statement, Manwe wept for Ferno's departure! But when he heard the last words of Fernor, that at least the deeds of the Noldor will be told in songs through ages, Manwë looked up as if he heard the drums of the evening and the bells of the morning, and he said, "So it is! These songs But it was costly, and it should not be taken lightly, because it is priceless! Just as we were told, the beauty that was not contained in our previous conception will be brought into Yiya, so that, The existence of evil is actually good."

But Mandos still said, "But evil is still evil! For me, Fernor will report soon!" Mandos's words were like a heavy hammer, hitting Manwe's heart ! That is because the Valar had prophesied for the Noldor long before they left, and these prophecies were all fulfilled one by one. And Mandos's words undoubtedly showed that Ferno's death is approaching! And this day will come soon!
