The sixth volume "Edo Castle Gozen Trial" has also been successfully completed.

Although before starting to write the sixth volume, I estimated that the volume of the sixth volume should be very large, but I didn't expect it to be so large...

The total number of words in Volume 6 is [690468]...

Nearly 700,000 words in length...

The total length exceeds the sum of Volume 4 and Volume 5...

Probably the longest volume of the book.

From February 7th to May 10th, it took a total of 3 months and 3 days to write.

I, Shu Mengshi, is indeed one of the model workers in the light district (laughs). I wrote a 700,000-word essay in just 3 months and 3 days.

Although in some plots, I can't write the feeling I want. But overall, I'm pretty happy with Volume 6.

From the beginning of Ogata and A-Machi's mutual confession, and the end of the two staring at each other (I counted wrongly, from the 344th chapter where Ogata and A-Machi confirmed the relationship to the last chapter of this volume, there are 91 chapters apart, not 101 chapters ...a little embarrassing...but it doesn't matter, 91 is also a good number, "long" and "one".)

If I were to say which episodes the author likes the most in this volume, I would probably choose the episode where Ogata reveals his true body in front of Guasheng, and then violently beats Kyutaro, and the fight scene between Genichi and Balrog.

The part where Ogata beats Jitaro violently should be one of the coolest plots in this volume (laughs). I believe many readers think so too, because the monthly pass of the book was sold out that day.

In my impression, the total monthly ticket ranking of the book at that time was 250+.

After finishing the chapter in which Ogata beat Kyotaro violently, the ranking directly soared to 150+...

As for the battle between Yuan Yi and Balrog, it is also one of my favorite plots.

I saw a famous book friend said it very well.

The battle between Yuan Yi and Balrog was not a battle between two old men.

It was a battle between an old man and a young man.

The Balrog was overwhelmed by obsession and everyone's expectations, and became old both physically and mentally.

Yuan Yi's heart has never changed.

Although his skin is old, his blood has been burning under the old skin. He has always been the boy who loves swordsmanship.

An old man who is getting old meets a young man who is still in high spirits - it is clear at a glance who wins and who loses.

Yuan Yi has always been one of my favorite characters.

Before I started writing the sixth volume, I set myself a small goal: to establish the image of Yuan Yi in this volume.

Before, Yuanyi had always been a person who only heard his name but didn't see the truth. Everyone is bragging about how strong Yuan Yi is, but Yuan Yi has never played much role.

Then in this volume, Yuan Yi finally had a lot of scenes.

I personally think that I have shaped Yuan Yi well (laughs).

Yuanyi's name prototypes are Yixin Weiming and Yuanyi Jiguo.

Although one of the prototypes of his name is Wei Ming Yi Xin, he and Wei Ming Yi Xin are different types of sword masters.

Weiming Yixin is the kind of sword master who pursues victory and does whatever it takes to achieve victory.

Kinoshita Genichi is obsessed with swordsmanship and only wants to pursue swordsmanship.

How to make Genichi Kinoshita's image of "Sword Master" deeply rooted in the hearts of the people has always been difficult for me.

But in the end——my small goal of "keeping Genichi's image alive in this volume" should be regarded as a successful achievement.

In addition to Yuan Yi, I personally think that it is better shaped in this volume, and there is Balrog.

If you compare Balrog and Fengma together, you will find that they are actually a bit alike.

Both of them knew that the time of the ninja was over.

They were overwhelmed by everyone's expectations and responsibilities.

However, they both made different choices in the end.

Feng Mo finally chose to let himself go.

He disbanded Fuma no Sato by himself, and lived in seclusion in Kyoto, living a happy life where his former subordinates would visit him from time to time.

But I couldn't think of what to say for a while (laughs).

As I said before, the title of volume 7 is determined to be "Unkamuyi".

There have already been quite powerful book friends who have found out what "Uen Kamuyi" means.

Unkamuyi is the Ainu language, which is the Ainu language.

It means - evil god.

Some characters in Volume 6 still have a lot of plots in Volume 7.
