But to Klent's dismay, the only result of his efforts was Dante turning in the other direction, awkwardly avoiding his eyesight

And before Klent could make a more desperate attempt at salvation, a terrifying figure walked into the room.

It was a tall, fierce-looking man clad in thick maroon-colored armor.

It was none other than Mr Kriel!

aHis cold eyes quickly scanned the room before he spoke,

"Quieten down everyone"

The second those words left his mouth, the whole room seemed to be affected by a spell as the once bustling classroom was plunged into a deathly silence.

Seeing the compliance of the entire class, Mr Kreiel couldn't help but nod in satisfaction

"There seems to have been some recent events that have had the entire capital talking and I'm sure many of you here would be interested in it too," said Mr Kriel.

"But that's for outside of the classroom. Inside here we are left to learn and study and I won't tolerate anything interrupting my lectures." As Mr kriel spoke a faint pressure engulfed the classroom causing a few of the students to gulp nervously.

"Well, now thats out of the way now we will begin today's lesson." said Mr Kriel

"The topic of today will be Body refining."

"As students of the department of war and combat, we don't ask you to be quick-witted or cunning like those in the department of governance nor do we ask you to be creative or dexterous like those in the department of weapons or the department of alchemy. The only requirement we have is for you to be  strong!"

"Now what is the basis of human strength? Of course, that would be the very body you have. A stronger body will be able to handle more powerful bursts of spirit energy, a stronger body will be able to endure more blows, and a stronger body will be able to last longer in combat. While spirit energy may be the source of your strength your body will always be the foundation it is built upon!"

"Body refining is a core teaching of the Department of war and combat and something you will be evaluated on later. Today's task will be to form an understanding of your body and begin body refining in earnest. Now I know some of you may have already begun body refining and practiced some techniques you have found on your own but that can not be compared to the library we have at the Hidden Dragon academy !"

As Mr Kreil spoke he raised his hand as a shower of bronze lights shot out in front of everyone present.

Reaching out his hand Dante clasped the bronze light before examining it.

"A token?" said Dante, confused at this sudden gift. It wasn't just Dante that was confused, all of the other students present showed a similarly puzzled expressions on their faces.

Seeing this Mr Kriel finna spoke up

"This is a token Martial Scriptures pavilion, if you show this you will be allowed to pick any martial arts on the first floor for you to begin practice with. By the end of this week, there will be an assessment to judge your progress. Don't disappoint me."

After saying those words, Mr Kriel turned around and headed out of the classroom, leaving the students tuned and looking at each other.

But this state only lasted for a brief period of time before all members began to rush out of the classroom.

There was only one thought in everyone's mind.

'What a godsent opportunity!

The Hidden Dragon academy was one of the best institutions on the continent. The martial techniques they have available are the best they would be able to find, the only downside was the contribution points needed to redeem them were no joke.

But now they had just been given a token to redeem any technique on the first level free of charge!

While this may just be the first level any technique here would be enough to cause an utter bloodbath outside.

There were only a few seconds before the classroom was left completely empty.

Seeing that sight, Dante just shook his head and moved along as well. After all, even he was beginning to get curious about what techniques he could possibly find.

....

A few minutes later, Dante found himself in front of the scripture pavilion and after revealing and showing a few tokens he was able to enter the section of body refining scriptures.

As Dante walked around he could see a few of his classmates here and there as he browsed through the books.

As Dante looked at the books he quickly noticed one thing in particular, the books were incomplete!

Well, more accurately, they were purposefully left incomplete.

The books found on the first level only contained half or even less of the full scripture and it wasn't hard to guess why.

Obviously, it was to milk out as many contribution points from the students as possible. Why give something cheap when you can break it up and sell it for even more?

As Dante looked around the first level and inspected the books he had to say that he wasn't impressed.

All he could see were bronze ranked and a few silver-ranked techniques and frankly, they were just too unsatisfactory for the current him. Looking at the upper levels, Dante had the sudden urge to storm the stairs just to catch a glimpse, but he knew the current token would only let him go to the first level

'Current token..'

It was then that Date suddenly froze.

Slapping his head, Dante let out a loud exclamation.

How could he be so stupid?! He almost forgot who he was.

He was the Dragon Son of war. A person designated to get the full support and upbringing of the entire department and a being whose authority lay only below the department heads and principal. he should easily be allowed past the first floor.
