In the end even if he could successfully cultivate Hans into becoming a true powerhouse, he would be like an extrey sharp sword in his hands.

Effective and able to follow through with even the most dangerous orders without hesitation but would still pose the risk of harming himself.

Dante's eyes flashed with a strange light as he looked at the boy kneeling towards him.

The poor boy didn't know that all sorts of risks and possibilities were flashing though Dante's mind. If Dante thought that the boy was truly uncontrollable he might just kill him there. No point in keeping a tool that's not useful and Dante wasn't one to share talents and let them be cultivated to harm himself, if he couldn't use it he may aswell break it so nobody else could!

these dangerous thoughts were flashing through Dante's mind whilst the potential victim was kneeling to express his loyalty towards him.

Eventually Dante managed to surpress these cold thoughts about killing Hans.

A good swordsman shouldn't fear a sharp sword . Instead he should fear That his sword wouldn't be sharp enough. Likewise a good ruler doesn't fear that his subjects are too talented only that they won't be talented enough.

Dante's fear about hans would onl come true if he believed himself weak. If he  accepted that he couldn't raise this talent, wouldn't that be admitting to himself that he found himself weak?

Dante would never do such a thing.

He was a transmigrator! A man that had a system that endowed him with various types of Dragon powerful souls. To fear that a small child would be uncontrollable was an embarrassing thing to do and it was even more embarrassing thing to accept that he felt such a fear.

Dante's Dragon pride wouldn't accept the fact that he found himself inadequate. Even His own pride  wouldn't accept that fact!

Looking towards Hans, Dante spoke.

" Hans your loyalty has been noted and appreciated. If you are willing you can join us and head towards the capital in the future."

As soon as Dante's words left his mouth Hans looked up with an unconcealed  excitement.

"Haha! Thank you for the opportunity. I swear to live up to the Son's expectations."

After hearing Hans words Dante just nodded and looked towards the shorter boy that was left stunned standing by his side.

"And Clay, what about you?"

For the next few seconds Clay was left stunned.

He just didn't know how to react.

He slowly looked towards his best friend that he'd known all his life and realised that boy he knew the most in the world had suddenly became so strange to him.

In the days they were separated  they had both experienced things that had changed their entire worldview. From the ignorant. Little village boys they'd been exposed to something much grander and impressive.

True strength.

Clay looked towards the boy next to him and then tightly clenched his fists.

He quickly felt a strength surge through his body that he'd been so familiar with these past weeks.

Feeing this surge of strength Clay knew that from the moment he began to practice these techniques, this choice had already been made for him.

He couldn't give up on thus strength.

Besides it wasn't like he had any reasons not to go.

Despite all his efforts, in the end His entire village had been slaughtered. He parents were dead, he was now an orphan with no familial obligations or ties.

The only person he was close to was Hans and he had already to follow the Dragon Son so he may aswell follow suit.

Dropping to one knee, Clay copped Hans's demeanour as he also spoke

"Thank you for this opportunity. I swear to live up to the Son's expectations!"

Hearing this bright smile broke up on Dante's face as he quickly waved his hands.

"Well seeing as you've made your choice we'd be happy to have you hear. And also, you don't have to kneel in the future. That's stuff is just needles formalities."

Clay and Hans quickly rose to their feet and looked at each to their causing a pair of  wide smiles to appear on their faces.

But before they could be happy for long they quickly felt a pair of hands on their shoulders.

"Well seeing as you guys have decided to join us that means that you two have more time to learn cultivation."

Looking towards the origin of the voice, they both saw the smiling face of Lennox.

Instantly the smiles on their faces collapsed.

"S-sir  Lennox can we take a break today?" Asked Clay , practically pleading.

"No." Rejected Lennox.

"Cultivation is a constant struggle. anytime you don't spend moving Is time you will inevitably spend going backwards."

As Lennox said these words he smiled in his heart.

Back at the clan the elders always use to say these words to sound profound and knowledgeable and now that he was doing it his image must appear just as profound.

Unfortunately for Lennox nobody in the room had time to appreciate his image.

Either way,  Lennox didn't dwell on these thoughts for long before he quickly dragged Hans and Clay and left the room.

As Lennox left the room he felt like he could finally understand why the clan elders used to push him to the limit training every day.

It really was fun training others to their limit.

Since he suffered like that back in the day training his technique and that these kids were training in the same technique it's only fair these kids suffer to the same extent!

If Hans and Clay knew his thoughts uncountable curse would inevitably leave their mouth  but in the end that would probably never happen.

They were just doomed to suffer the relentless training in ignorance.

As Rebecca watched  this spectacle a strange expression appeared on her face as she turned towards Dante.

"Are… Are those kids going to be okay?"

Haring this question Dante chuckled lightly
