I Am Immortal

Chapter 56: Thirteen Hatreds of Xuanmen

Chapter 56 Return to Taoist Thirteen Hate

  Qi Wuhuo said: "This is..."

The old man said: "Your brother."

He walked forward, Qi Wuhuo followed behind, when he got closer, he saw the size of the tomb, it was obvious that it was just a tomb.

Desolate and lonely, the romantic days were blown away by the rain and the wind.

A huge shock made the boy's expression solemn.

Many previous complicated thoughts were cut into pieces by life and death, and the last question evolved.

The heart of the Tao is the purest. Those who seek the Dao wholeheartedly will fall in the middle way, while the rest who are addicted to self-obsession can live for thousands of years.

  Why is this so?

The old man leaned over and peeled off the green moss that had climbed up from the tomb, and pushed aside the covered branches to reveal the writing on it. Qi Wuhuo subconsciously looked at it. The writing was warm and peaceful, as if it had been written casually, as if The person who wrote these words still has peace of mind in the end, without obsession and waves.

Qi Wuhuo recited subconsciously: "In this life of practice, I have met famous teachers, made good friends Xiongjie, loved ones, loved Taoist couples, indulged in the world, and everything went well, except for the thirteen hates that lasted until death. here."

"The first hate, the book bag is easy to eat."

He paused, and subconsciously thought of senior brother Yuyang, a practitioner who was born as a scholar.

The latter was obsessed with the ambition of the book, and then indulged in the great desire to pass on the fame to future generations, and finally couldn't extricate himself.

   "Easy to eat..."

"Second hate, love is deep and relationship is shallow, beautiful woman is hard to live."

Qi Wuhuo thought of Senior Sister Yumiao again, and thought of her resolution that she promised to be good forever.

Taishang is not ruthless, but not obsessed with magic.

Xuanzhen also did this, but he didn't insist on it.

Qi Wuhuo restrained his mind, continued to read, and said, "The third hates mosquitoes in summer nights, the fourth hates platform leaks, the fifth hates chrysanthemum leaves, the sixth hates pines and ants, the seventh hates bamboo leaves, and the eighth hates The osmanthus is easy to thank, the nine hates the radish and the Tibetan beetle, and the ten hates the peanut thorn..."

Xuan Zhen seems to have something that the previous senior brothers were obsessed with.

And there seems to be more.

It's like a world of flowers and flowers, endless common people, everyone likes it, and they all regret it. The so-called hate is just because I like it so much, so I regret it. It's just these words. Qi Wuhuo seems to be able to see that senior brother Xuanzhen.

Seeing him laughing and cursing, he hates the mosquitoes that fly around in summer. He likes bamboo, but hates cleaning fallen leaves.

Looking at his words is like seeing a person.

It seems that in front of the stele is not a tree branch, but a handsome and free-spirited Taoist Xuanzhen, looking at him with a smile, and said to him as a junior.

The old man stood in front of Qi Wuhuo and said, "This is your senior brother, Xuanzhen."

Qi Wuhuo said: "Senior brother, he..."

The old man stroked the stele with his palm and replied: "The road has fallen."

"Seeking the Tao is not taking a stroll in the courtyard, not looking at the flowers and the moon, but taking my life back from the heaven and the earth, step by step, the road is difficult."

   "This is a step-by-step test."

"Xuanmen orthodox way, when practicing, there will be three disasters, seven calamities and eight difficulties."

"Three calamities, swordsmen, demons, heaven and earth."

"You seek the way, if you want to fight with a sharp weapon."

"Or when the road is uneven, the Dao heart is harmonious and draws a sword to fight with others, or the skills are not as good as others, or they are plotted against by others, the body dies, the soul is dispelled by others, and it will never be the same again. This is a sword."

"If the road is uneven, retreat and avoid it; or do all kinds of situations that go against my heart, causing distracting thoughts to arise."

"If you want to achieve a little bit of spiritual light to shine on the world, how can you shine on the world?"

"It's like winter snow that gradually melts. It doesn't see its growth day by day, but it grows day by day, and finally affects the mind, the soul is mixed, and the cultivation base does not retreat, and finally falls."

   "This is the demon."

"The catastrophe of heaven and earth is thunder, wind, and fire. It is because you retrieve your life treasure by yourself, step out of the innate qi, and gather the three flowers on the top. It will naturally come."

"Originally, all living things in the world are like a drop of water in a river. They are naturally harmonious. They all belong to the avenue of one life, two, two, three, and three. One, it is for the gathering of the three flowers. This is equivalent to fighting against the current, and it will naturally be washed by the current."

"So practitioners must [clear their minds and see their nature]."

"The Dao Heart that cannot be disturbed by external objects can perceive these catastrophes."

   "Make a circumvention in advance."

"The thunder strikes the primordial spirit, but the fire burns the body. As for the wind disaster, it pours in from the acupoints all over your body, destroying your morality and turning into fly ash. Naturally, there is no malice in this. It depends on the natural movement of heaven and earth. , is to let you return to the path of the three lives and all things."

"If you avoid it, you can live a long life, if you can't avoid it, if you can't avoid it, you will die on the spot."

"The soul flies away, and returns to Daqian."

"Buddhists are saddened by fire, burned as relics, which is called passing away; Taoism is trapped in wind and disaster, and turns into dust and leaves the world, which is called sitting."

"As for those who don't follow the right path, those whose souls are dark and have complicated thoughts, they can't even survive the thunder disaster."

"Buddhism and Taoism, most of them are upright and pure, naturally, there are also some evil self-centered people, their thoughts are also extremely pure, and thunder calamity can't destroy their way."

Qi Wuhuo said to himself: "The soul flies away..."

The old man nodded, and said gently: "As for the most common eight difficulties, there is no need to elaborate."

"After all, you've seen it too."

Qi Wuhuo said: "I have already seen it?"

His voice paused slightly, as if he had realized something, and said, "It's senior brother and the others..."

The old man replied with a gentle voice, but it seemed that because of what he saw and thought before, it fell into the young man's ears with some regret: "These eight difficulties are often accompanied by the strength of the cultivator and become more difficult to give up."

"There is a mixture of things, in the world first, I don't know how to describe it, it is called Tao."

"Tao gave birth to one, one gave birth to two, two gave birth to three, three gave birth to all things, and evolved all things and myriad dharmas, which is the mother of the world."

"Cultivation is the clarity of nature, returning to the root, step by step to [one], and finally finding the avenue that embraces everything."

"Everything you see now, the heavens, the earth, and the common people are all part of the three lives and all things. They are all right, but they are not what we are after. A part of something evolved from one of the common people."

"If you enter a narrow path, you won't get out."

"It's the so-called way to get a method in the way, and a skill in the way, meditating to practice Qi, walking and firmness, and claiming to be the way."

"When you fall into this situation, there is no right or wrong in life, and each has its own pursuit; but if you look at it from the purpose of pursuing the original and best way, this is a big [difficulty]."

"Even the heart of the Tao is covered with dust, sinking into the eight difficulties."

"What about the three disasters and seven calamities?"

"They... don't even have the qualifications to go to the three disasters and seven disasters."

The old man sighed, looked at Xuanzhen's jade slip again, and said: "And Xuanzhen, just like Wuhu you at this moment, has a pure heart."

"But it is precisely because of this that he will least leave a retreat for himself. He has no worries and fears, and only seeks the way."

"The last practice is to seek the most superior method, not to avoid, not to retreat, to break through the catastrophe head-on, to encounter swords, thunder and fire, and demons."

"Break through forty-nine catastrophes in a row, but after all, I can't do it. I don't choose to keep my soul and walk the path of Yin God."

"No distracting thoughts, no room for others or yourself, go all out."

   "Fall without success."

"The first three of Bing Jie prayed for the Tao, cultivated the Tao, proved the Tao, laughed out loud, and then died, and the smoke disappeared."

The old man’s sleeve robe brushed over, removing the last hidden words on the stele, and the remaining words were revealed, no longer so gentle, but suddenly became sharper.

When reading the last three sentences, Qi Wuhuo fell silent for a moment—

"Eleven hates, to prove the way, but my heart is not firm."

"Twelve hates, only to prove the way, but my **** is not pure."

"Thirteen hates, I haven't realized the way, but my body has died."

  Thirteen hates of Taoism.

A series of hate words, but there is no malice in the slightest, only the extremely strong regret, pinned on the boundless and solidified Taoist heart, soaring into the sky, startled the old tree jackdaw a few times.

The old man spoke plainly, but Qi Wuhuo seemed to be able to see that scene, and imagine the heroism and determination of this scene.

To be in the same vein, the heart is naturally firm, the consciousness is pure, the hatred, the regret, it's just not enough.

It seems that there is a wind, the clouds in the sky gather and disperse, the wind pressure is very low, and after a while, it rains, the rain is pattering, and after a while, it has become a scene of smoke and cold mountains, like a painting scroll with splashed ink , the temperature here is warmer than the place where Qi Wuhuo originally lived, but since it is winter, it is naturally cold and rainy.

The old man opened a bamboo umbrella in his hand to shield the boy from the rain, took out a jug of wine from his cuff, and placed it in front of the tomb.

The branches in front of the tomb shook slightly, but the jade slips were still the same as before.

This is the only disciple whose Dao name has not been taken back.

Qi Wuhuo could feel the sadness of the old man.

Qi Wuhuo still said: "With the teacher's ability, can't I get my brother back?"

The old man smiled gently: "Get it back?"

Holding an umbrella, he motioned for Qi Wuhuo to follow him, thought for a while, and asked, "Wuhuo once had a dream of yellow beams, old man, let me ask you, if you were an official and someone cheated for personal gain, what would you do?" What to do?"

Qi Wuhuo said: "It should be ruled according to the law."

The old man said: "Then, what if you see someone corrupting the law for personal gain?"

  Qi Wuhuo said: "Prison him."

The old man asked: "When you see someone kill someone for personal reasons?"

Qi Wuhuo said: "Should be beheaded."

The old man said gently: "So you understand."

"Life and death are the fairest in the world. This old man will not break this fairness for anyone."

“A teacher is just a person who leads you into the door, points out where the road ahead is, and places expectations on it.”

"I changed clothes for you, gave you a name, and with expectations, I taught you the Tao. This is just the fate of you and me, and I am [Little Master]."

"It's not about taking care of the person you are domineering."

  The old man said:

"I will not save any of my disciples who fall into the world of mortals, love, reincarnation, life and death."

"Only waiting for you to realize yourself."

"In this regard, you are actually no different from anyone else."

The old man walked up the mountain and stopped. He stood inside the rain curtain. The rain was so heavy that the sky and the earth were drowsy. His sleeves were hanging down. He held an umbrella for the young man and said gently:

"After all, you are my disciples."

"But all cultivators in the world are my disciples."
