Hogwarts Blood Wizard

Chapter 563: Back to school and new semester

Harry opened his mouth and wanted to explain. He felt that Sirius would not be knocked down by a curse, but he thought of what happened to Chino and Lockhart in the first or second year, and Lupin inexplicably resigned at the end of the semester in the third grade. He closed his mouth again.

At this time of delay, the sorting ceremony has already begun. Professor McGonagall led a long row of first-year students to the top of the auditorium, placed a triangular stool on the ground in front of the freshmen, and put another stool on the stool. The shabby, dirty, patched wizard hat.

The first-year freshmen stared at the weird hat, and everyone else stared at it.

For a while, there was silence in the auditorium.

Then a crack near the brim of the hat opened like a mouth, and the hat suddenly sang:

"That was more than a thousand years ago, I was just woven into shape,

There are four famous wizards whose names have been passed down to this day:

The brave Gryffindor, from a barren swamp,

The beautiful Ravenclaw, from the peaceful riverside,

The benevolent Hufflepuff, from the open valley,

The shrewd Slytherin came from that quagmire.

  ......"

The weird singing of the branch courtyard hatguli resounded throughout the auditorium.

When I heard the phrase "The Big Four have injected my thoughts into me, I will choose and evaluate from now on!" Ivan's heart moved.

According to Nick LeMay, injecting one's own mind and will into magic items is a very advanced alchemy technique, and it is also the bottleneck of his current alchemy learning.

Just as Ivan was thinking about it, the singing of the Sorting House had stopped, and there was warm applause in the auditorium.

McGonagall unfolded a large roll of parchment and read it according to the name on it. The new students who were read stepped forward and picked up the sorting hat, sat on the stool, and waited for the hat to make a decision.

Ivan took a few glances and then withdrew his gaze, but unfortunately he was not a new student and couldn't touch the sorting hat, otherwise he could use the system identification function to see the reality of the hat.

Harry was not as laid back as Ivan, and was constantly harassed by his little brother Colin, who was one year below him. Although he was very impatient, Harry responded perfunctorily.

About ten minutes later, as a freshman named Kevin Whitby was assigned to Hufflepuff, the sorting ceremony finally ended.

Professor McGonagall picked up the sorting hat and small stool and moved them away.

Professor Dumbledore on the bench stood up slowly. He looked at all his classmates with a smile, opened his arms and made a welcome gesture.

"I only have two words to tell you," Dumbledore's deep voice echoed in the auditorium, and he stretched out his wand and tapped it in the air, speaking loudly.

   "Eat!"

As Dumbledore's words fell, the empty plates on the long table were suddenly and magically filled with various foods.

"At last it's time!" Ron hurriedly grabbed the spoon placed on the side, dug a spoonful of mashed potatoes and stuffed it into his mouth. After sitting on the train all afternoon, he was already hungry.

Ivan also put aside the complicated thoughts, and started to enjoy the meal in front of him intently, cutting off a juicy piece of steak and slowly chewing in his mouth.

Nearly headless Nick wandered around them. Seeing them feasting, he was a little greedy, but the ghost couldn't eat the food of living people, so he could only watch it like that.

"Hey...you are really lucky today, you know that the banquet of the evening almost broke up." Nearly headless Nick said sourly.

"What's wrong? Did something happen?" Ivan squinted at the ghost and swallowed the steak in his mouth.

"Earlier, there was a mess in the kitchen. It was Pepy Ghost who was deliberately making trouble and arguing about it again. You know, Pepy Ghost has always wanted to participate in the banquet!"

Nick, who was almost headless, shook his head and sighed. His neck with skin didn't look very stable, and he almost threw his head off. Ivan and others were worried about him.

Fortunately, his head didn't fall off in the end. After a pause, Nick, who was almost headless, continued.

"You should be aware of Pepigui's virtues. He has no education at all. When he sees food, he throws it everywhere. We held a ghost meeting to discuss this matter. The fat monk advocated giving him this opportunity-but blood. Ren Barrow firmly disagrees. I think he is very wise to do so."

"No wonder Peppies are making trouble at the door..." Ron slapped his mouth, usually Peppies didn't have the guts to block outside the auditorium to tease them when school just started.

"Then, Nick, what did Pippy do in the kitchen?" Harry asked curiously.

"It's not the same old thing," Nick shrugged. "It's just ruining it. Peppy ghost messed up everything. Pots and pans were thrown everywhere, and the entire kitchen was flooded with soup.

The poor house elves were so scared by it, they drove away Pippi together, and had to make a new dinner again, almost delaying today's banquet! "

"That's really bad! Fortunately, Pippi was kicked out..." Ron said with pleasure. If Pippi succeeded, everyone would have to be hungry all night!

   When...

Listening to the words of Nick and Ron, Hermione inadvertently knocked over the gin glass in front of her. Pumpkin juice was poured on the tablecloth continuously, dyeing the white linen into an orange for several times. Feet, but Hermione ignored it at all.

Harry and Ron looked at Hermione in surprise, Ivan also turned his head, vaguely remembering something, and couldn't help but scream in his heart.

"You just said... there are house elves here too?" Hermione didn't look at Ivan and the others, but stared at Nick and said in a high tone.

"That's right? Isn't that necessary?" Nick, who was almost headless, looked at Hermione strangely. He didn't understand why she had such a big reaction, but he replied truthfully, with a hint of pride in his words.

"There are not as many house elves in any house in the UK here. There are more than one hundred house elves in Hogwarts!"

"Then why don't I usually see it?" Hermione frowned. She had only seen one house elf at Hogwarts a few years ago-that was Dobby.

"Ahem..." This time, Nick, who was almost headless, didn't wait for a reply~www.wuxiaspot.com~ Ivan coughed slightly, attracted everyone's attention, and then helped explain.

"Hermione, house elves are the best "helpers" for wizards. They can be said to be almighty in housekeeping. There are so many little wizards in Hogwarts, and they always need some house elves..."

"Then they get paid, do they have holidays?" Hermione continued to say seriously without being fooled by Ivan. "There are sick days... allowances, do they have them?"

When I saw Dobby before, Hermione didn't realize the low status of the house elves, and thought she was similar to a housekeeper.

But she had come into contact with Shining and Kreacher during this summer vacation, only to realize that the lives of these poor little guys were harder than slaves!

"Sick leave and allowance? Hahaha..." The floating ghost seemed to have heard some funny news. He almost lost his breath with a smile. The wheel-shaped ruffled collar crooked, his head rolled down, and he was still attached to his neck by an inch or two. The dead skin and muscles of her were hanging, dangling in the air.

"They don't need that, Granger!" Nick put his head hanging in mid-air on his neck again, and fixed it with a round wrinkle collar. "House elves don't need sick leave and allowance!"

"That means they have to work hard every day because they have nothing? Isn't that slave labor?" Hermione said angrily, then turned to look at Ivan, and continued to ask.

   "Na Dobi..."

"Yes! Of course!" Ivan nodded hurriedly, interrupting Hermione's words, "Dobby gets a salary every month. I gave it a vacation last year to give it a good rest. A few days!"
