Harry Potter's Catastrophe

Chapter 64: Going Home (Part 1)

The restaurant is decorated like an auditorium, and all the decorations are filled with the blue and copper colors of Ravenclaw. Whichever house wins the House Cup will be decorated with the representative colors of that house at the end of the semester.

Slytherin has won the House Cup for seven consecutive years. Now their winning streak has been ended. This is all thanks to their first-year students. There is still a weird atmosphere on the Slytherin long table. There is an empty seat between the students of the same grade.

Not long after Carney and the others took their seats, Dumbledore appeared at the teacher's table. There was also a Ravenclaw emblem of blue and bronze eagle hanging behind the teacher's chair. After Dumbledore appeared, the sound from the four tables in the dining room disappeared.

"Another year has passed!" Dumbledore repeated the same words for many years, and he could still say it so happily.

"Before you enjoy these delicacies, I must trouble you all to listen to an old man's cliché. What a wonderful year it has been! You..." There are countless words omitted here.

"Now, let's go to the Academy Cup award ceremony. As far as I know, the scores of each house are as follows: fourth place, Gryffindor, 250 points; third place, Slytherin, 357 points; third place, Slytherin, 357 points; Second place, Hufflepuff, 421 points; first place, Ravenclaw, 468 points."

The long Ravenclaw table cheered together, and the wizard hat was thrown high.

On the teacher's bench beside him, Professor Flitwick smiled happily. On the other side, Snape's face had been dark from the beginning of the award ceremony to now, and no one talked to him. The only one who dared to talk to him, Quirrell, was also killed.

"Yes, they performed very well, let us congratulate them!"

Applause broke out from the other two tables. For Gryffindor and Hufflepuff, they would be happy as long as Slytherin did not win the House Cup. No one at the Slytherin table applauded, and they looked coldly at the bustling other houses.

"Okay, now," Dumbledore said with a smile, "enjoy your dinner!"

"Huh? Is this the end of it?" Seeing rows of sumptuous dinners appearing on the table, Dumbledore also returned to his seat.

"What's next?" Neville asked confusedly.

"It's nothing." Carney didn't know if Dumbledore had a seizure. Shouldn't he give us extra points? However, Carney has no interest in the ownership of the Academy Cup. It is just an honor and does not take it seriously.

The results of the exam were also announced, and as expected, Hermione ranked first in the grade. Carney's grades are not bad either. He is in the top ten. I really don't know how the grades are ranked. The grades are only excellent, good, pass or fail. How are the nouns ranked?

Tonight is the last night at Hogwarts, and everyone in the dormitory is packing their luggage. The entire dormitory seemed to be quite empty all of a sudden, and Toad was finally found in the corner of the bathroom after Neville had been missing for a long time.

"There are so many things. It's really inconvenient to carry them around. I really want to leave these books and other things here to gather ashes!" Ron tidied them up a few times and rested aside. Ron's mother asked him to take all the textbooks away Bring back. Looking at Kani, who was still reading a book with Xiao Hei on the bed, he said, "Kani, it's holiday, and you still borrowed so many books?"

"Why don't you pack your luggage? The Hogwarts Express tomorrow is at seven o'clock." Harry had relatively few things, and he didn't have many personal belongings when he came.

"Are you sure you are a wizard?" Carney did not intend to put things in the suitcase so quickly. "Tomorrow morning, just use the transfiguration spell to turn them all into pieces of paper. And I will bring books, a few things in a suitcase, and Xiao Hei."

"If you say that, I want to learn the art of transfiguration!" Ron was dreaming again after hearing this.

"If you have this idea, Professor McGonagall will be happy to ask you to write more papers." Harry's things were almost packed, and he had a lot to bring. He had put away his clothes (his Uncle Dursley would not buy him new clothes) and the gifts he received at Christmas. Harry also planned to take all the books back and plan to have a good holiday. Check it out.

"I have to go back to see my uncle and his friends again, especially Dudley." Harry didn't want to go home. If Hogwarts could accommodate people during the holidays, he would like to stay.

"Hey! Notices have been sent out, one for each person." Simo brought back five pieces of parchment from outside. His luggage had been packed long ago before the exam.

"Underage wizards are not allowed to use magic during the holidays!" Ron knew what it meant without even looking.

"You learned it but you can't use it! It's true." Harry went to Hagrid to learn some small curses, such as growing pig tails and so on. Everyone in the dormitory knew what he learned it for. "If I use it secretly, can they find out?"

"It seems possible. As long as you are under age, your use of magic during the holidays will be detected," Neville said.

"Well, it seems to depend on some kind of trace. The trace will disappear only when you are an adult." Ron obviously knew better. "When George Fred and I went home, my wand would be put away by my mother, but she didn't care. Percy, Percy's not an adult either."

"Your mother thinks Percy has that much self-control!" said Harry.

"Speaking of which, I think I used magic at home on Christmas Day. I wouldn't even remember it if you didn't tell me." Carney now remembered that he used magic to wash dishes and do housework on Christmas Day.

"Really! What did you do!" Ron said.

"Use magic to wash dishes and clean the house." Carney said. "I thought I would receive a notice from the school or the Ministry of Magic, but nothing happened."

"Maybe it was a small magic that was not detected!" Harry said, "I wonder if what I learned will be detected."

"Impossible, even the smallest magic can be detected. My father works in the Ministry of Magic. A little wizard was notified and warned because the power was out at home and he cast a flash spell for lighting." Ron shattered Harry's unrealistic dream.

"Then, I'm not sure!" Carney said.

"The flash spell can be detected. It seems that I will have to sleep in the cupboard again during this holiday." Harry sighed.

"But your uncle and aunt don't know that you can't use magic!" Ron's brain is still very flexible in this regard, if he is willing to use it in learning. George and Fred's brains are all used in pranks, and they often invent some small gadgets for pranks. This is also where their brains shine. Carney can't make these gadgets, and Hermione can't either.

"Yes, you're right. I'm looking forward to seeing Dudley's frightened eyes!" Harry tore the notice into pieces happily. It seemed that he wouldn't have to live in the cupboard anymore.

Carney also threw the notice into the trash can. He planned to go home and try the Flash Charm. This should just be a warning notice, nothing serious.
