Harry Potter's Catastrophe

Chapter 475: A hypothesis

"I think you will be very interested in Muggle schools. This is Muggle knowledge." Carney suddenly thought about why Hermione loves to read. Maybe she can get several doctorates or something in the Muggle world.

"So? I just want to know what this means." Hermione asked eagerly.

"Um, I forgot. I suggest you buy a few books on Muggle biology and botany. They should be in them." Carney can't recall the knowledge from junior high school. Anyway, he has things like mitochondria, chloroplasts, cytoplasm, nuclei, cytosol, etc. I forgot about it.

"Then what do I need you for?" Hermione.

"..." Carney.

They apparated back to Hagrid's hut with Hermione. In the next few days, they went several times without encountering the unicorn, and Hermione gave up.

Those little wizards did not listen to Carney's advice, and they all suffered from the barrier. Their methods could not break through Carney's barrier at all.

"We can't accomplish much as long as we stay here all day," said a young wizard.

"No, we can't do anything if someone is here all the time."

Carney ignored them. It was less than a week before the holiday. The scores of Gryffindor and Slytherin were always tied. He was now at the door of the principal's office.

But this is not a problem for Carney, because the points are not added once, which is why he is not panicked at all.

"Principal." Carney knocked on the door, and the door opened automatically, and Carney found Principal Dumbledore.

"Kearney, what's the matter?" Dumbledore put down his afternoon tea leisurely. Stellan was also there, immersed in writing something at another table.

When Stellan saw Carney coming, he immediately made a face at Carney. When Dumbledore looked at him, he immediately lowered his head and continued writing.

"Principal, I'm here to apply for extra points." Carney ignored Stellan and said rudely.

"Extra points?" Old God Dumbledore said, "I've already given you extra points for saving Hogwarts. Don't you think it's not enough?"

"Of course not this time, it was the classmate I saved from the spider's mouth before. Because he was a Gryffindor student, Professor McGonagall was so angry that he didn't give me any extra points. I think it's fair. Principal Dumbledore will add points appropriately," Carney said while rubbing his hands.

"No extra points?" Dumbledore asked.

"Of course, I just came out of Professor McGonagall's office." Carney spread his hands, "You can ask Professor McGonagall."

"I know, look, this is a competition without any suspense and no fun at all. Classmate Carney Strand, you are not afraid of danger, bravely break into the forbidden forest, save the classmates, for your bravery and enthusiasm , Gryffindor plus eighty points.”

As soon as Dumbledore finished speaking, Gryffindor's scoring gem in the auditorium rose slowly, surpassing and stretching Slytherin by a long distance.

"Oh, the principal is giving my brother some trouble?" Carney went around Stellan's back and saw him copying words. Yes, they were pure English words.

"The exam is coming soon, and he still can't write. Please ask Minerva to take more care of him," Dumbledore said.

"But Professor McGonagall is quite busy. You are the only idle person in the school, right?" Carney saw through it at a glance.

"Isn't this the privilege of being a principal?" Dumbledore picked up the donut on the table and took a bite. I am the principal and I can be as leisurely as I want.

"You wrote this wrong, you're missing an S, and your U is written the same as V. It's too ugly." Carney pointed at Stellan's parchment.

"Are you interested in teaching children some words?" Dumbledore frowned.

"No, I'm not interested at all. The naughty kid is the devil. Let someone with experience do it." Carney said immediately. No wonder this bratty brother didn't bother him recently. He was learning to write with Dumbledore.

"I don't want your irresponsible brother to teach me. Principal Dumbledore will train me to be a more powerful wizard than you." Stellan said arrogantly.

"Wow, principal, this is not easy. Do you want me to let you go?"

"That's impossible to say," Dumbledore said.

"Hello Fox." Carney greeted Fox, but Fox ignored Carney and continued to close his eyes and meditate.

"I have a few more questions. Principal, what is your Animagus transformation?" Carney asked. Dumbledore was originally a professor of transfiguration, so he would definitely be able to transform into an Animagus.

"What do you think?" Dumbledore smiled but said nothing.

"I have a question. Can magical animals learn from Animagus?" Carney asked pretending to be casual.

"Of course not, they are completely different from humans, they don't..." Dumbledore stopped mid-answer and stared at Carney, "I'm not sure, maybe, why do you have such an idea?"

"Maybe his pet can become a human." Stellan suddenly interrupted.

"Shut up, I'm talking to Principal Dumbledore about advanced magic. You go and write your words." Carney gestured to take a step to talk to Dumbledore.

"I mean, is it possible to use a transformation spell to turn an animal into a human, and then teach it the art of transformation?" Carney planned to try it as soon as he had an idea after his magic power expanded, but he didn't try blindly.

"I have had this idea, but animals have an insurmountable obstacle, intelligence. Even if they become humans, they are only human-shaped animals. There are many smart animals," Dumbledore said.

"I tried to turn an owl into a human. The transformation was successful, but I still can't live like a human being." Dumbledore continued, "You haven't gotten the advanced transformation textbook yet. The first sentence in it is Just don’t turn animals into people.”

"The transformation methods and tips inside are all very similar, so they won't be of use to you, but there are some concepts that can help you."

"Suppose I find an animal that is as smart as a human child and has magical powers. Will Hogwarts accept such a student?" Carney asked cautiously.

"Hogwarts does not accept non-human students. This is a rule." Dumbledore insisted, "But I accept them in my own name, as my students."

"...Am I not your student?" Carney saw this guy's face.

"Of course not. You are a student of Hogwarts. I don't have a student in name yet, so where is it?" Dumbledore said softly, like a child waiting to hear a secret.

"That's my assumption, principal. You seem to be in good health and you are not in a hurry to accept the successor." Carney said, seeing that Dumbledore was like this, he probably didn't reject it.

"That's a pretty good assumption. I'm over a hundred years old and I won't live much longer." Dumbledore sighed, stroking his ten-inch beard to show Carney. "I don't think they can grow any longer. I need to spend some time grooming them every day."

"Indeed, why don't you shave it off?" Carney has always wondered why he didn't shave off such a long beard. Wouldn't it make him look more energetic?
