Harry Potter and the Attack of the Squibs

Chapter 21: Everyone is deceived

Walking out of the men's room, Lu Ke, Watson, and the little man in the bottle floating in the air all looked gloomy.

They walked aimlessly forward on the street in silence for a long time, then Watson stopped and pulled Lu Ke into a cafe.

"So you don't drink?"

Lu Ke sat opposite Watson and nodded.

Watson lowered his head and glanced at the diary on the table: "Let me read it before bed. Maybe there are some things you saw but didn't pay attention to."

Lu Ke nodded helplessly: "I especially hope so."

Watson smiled: "What if the key to the matter is when he becomes an adult?"

Lu Ke shook his head: "It's possible, but..."

If Voldemort really returned to the orphanage on a whim for no reason after reaching adulthood, and found a secret place to hide the Horcrux away from all Muggles, then Lu Ke would have no way of finding the place where the Horcrux was.

But Lu Ke believed that everything Voldemort did was not without reason, especially hiding Horcruxes.

"Contact me if you have any news."

It was already dark, and Lu Ke stood up.

"If you can't contact me, you can send me a letter."

"Remember the address is Hogwarts."

Watson looked at Lu Ke and smiled: "How to fight?"

When Lu Ke returned to Hogwarts, it was already midnight.

He and Hagrid walked through the gate together, then separated at the castle door.

Although he knew that Dumbledore was probably still asleep, Lu Ke did not go to the principal's office.

He returned to the Slytherin common room and fell asleep.

Lu Ke got up from bed very early the next morning, then left the common room and turned left into the kitchen to have a hearty breakfast. By the way, he talked to the house elf about organic chemistry, as well as the cutting-edge development and innovation of molecular cuisine. The enterprising catering industry has pushed it into the wrong direction.

Then Lu Ke slowly walked out of the underground floor and came to the lobby.

To his surprise, Dumbledore was sitting in his seat.

"Good morning, Professor."

Dumbledore stood up and nodded to Lu Ke: "Good morning, Lu Ke."

"Did you find anything?"

Lu Ke was silent for a moment: "I have some doubts."

Dumbledore nodded: "We can go take a look."

Lu Ke nodded helplessly.

Although he needed to find a way to confirm it, Dumbledore's will could not be violated.

They apparated away from Hogwarts and came to the seaside.

"So what do you know?"

Dumbledore looked at the tide and sighed silently.

Lu Ke turned around and looked at the orphanage behind him.

"Once, Tom fell off a cliff and fell into the sea because of his fun."

Dumbledore looked surprised: "He survived..."

Then a flash of realization flashed across his face: "That was probably the first time his magic went berserk."

Lu Ke nodded: "In the diary of the nun in charge of the orphanage, her view on this matter is that this is Tom's whim. He is a child who is not born very well, and he must want to show off that he is different, okay? It’s more respectable among orphans.”

Dumbledore shook his head: "It would be great if that nun could understand your theory."

Lu Ke shook his head helplessly and changed the topic.

"So I suspect Voldemort saw something under the cliff."

Dumbledore nodded: "Let's go, let's follow the footsteps of young Tom and go to the bottom of the cliff."

Dumbledore said, grabbing Luke's arm and raising his wand.

Lu Ke felt that he suddenly lost control of his body, and then he floated up.

Dumbledore seemed to be able to use magic to control his own actions. He took Lu Ke and flew down the cliff as if flying.

The two turned around to face the cliff and slowly descended.

Then soon, Lu Ke saw what they had been looking for.

"There is actually a cave here?"

Lu Ke was very surprised, but Dumbledore was still calm.

He smiled and waved his wand, and the two of them floated towards the entrance of the cave.

"So it's not surprising that this is also a very important memory for Tom, isn't it?"

Dumbledore smiled and raised his wand, the light lit up and the surroundings could be seen clearly.

This is a basalt cave formed by a volcanic eruption. On the ground are iconic black basalt pillars, which are like standard hexagons put together, with different heights and uneven heights.

The entire cliff was formed by the collision of volcanic eruptions and sea water. This cave should be a cavity supported by sea water rushing in and evaporating into water vapor.

Lu Ke walked towards the depths of the cave.

Dumbledore raised his head behind him and looked at the cave wall and the top. He was very interested: "This is really a magical masterpiece of nature. The greatest alchemist in the world was never a wizard."

Lu Ke smiled helplessly, and then told Dumbledore the theory of the formation of the cave.

Dumbledore looked excited: "Muggles already know this! It's amazing!"

They soon reached the edge of an unknown size of water.

Lu Ke looked up at his surroundings, but the light from the tip of Dumbledore's wand could only illuminate his surroundings, and everything in the distance was hidden in darkness: at least where Lu Ke could see, there was no boundary to this body of water.

"If this is formed by the condensation of water vapor that once rushed in, it shouldn't be very big..."

Dumbledore then said what Lu Ke wanted to say: "But if there is an undercurrent underground here that connects to the bottom of the sea, it could be very big."

"Also, there are actually some magic spells that can expand space. It's very easy for Tom to do it."

Dumbledore raised his wand.

At the top of the wand, an unprecedented light burst out and rushed into the distance.

Lu Ke was surprised that such light did not make his eyes feel uncomfortable. He looked into the distance and finally saw the boundary of the cave.

It's not very big here.

Of course, it is already very large for a cave, but this body of water does not reach the level of a lake as Lu Ke feared.

Then Lu Ke noticed a small boat not far to the right.

Dumbledore waved his wand, and the boat floated over: "Tom also needs a boat to get across here. This is quite new..."

Lu Ke shook his head: "There is dangerous black magic in the water, and the smell of death is everywhere here."

A serious expression appeared on Dumbledore's face: "Don't worry, I can still fight for the time being."

Lu Ke jumped on the boat and pulled Dumbledore up. He picked up the oar from the stern and rowed the famous boat towards the center of the water.

It was quiet all around, except for the continuous sound of water caused by the oars.
