Harry Potter and the Attack of the Squibs

Chapter 36 The Story of a Madman

Sitting in the boat, Lu Ke returned to the island.

William was visibly relieved when he saw him.

"So, what did you see?"

Lu Ke smiled: "A fire dragon that is almost dying of old age."

The middle-aged wizard on the side shook his head: "Although it is very old, it is still powerful, but since you can come back alive, it is probably dying."

William turned and looked at the middle-aged wizard: "Tell me, it seems to be a fire dragon with a story?"

The middle-aged wizard nodded: "I always thought it was an interesting story that grandpa learned from Muggles at first, but this is what really happened."

"There once was a powerful Muggle king on this cruel ocean. He was a strong Viking warrior. As a pirate, he offended someone he shouldn't have offended, a powerful dark wizard."

"The dark wizard arranged an extremely ironic fate for the king. He found the king and told him that there was a spell that could make him extremely powerful no matter who said it."

William shook his head: "But Muggles can't cast spells."

The middle-aged wizard smiled: "So I thought it was just a funny story at first."

"No one knows what the spell was, but the king did it."

"He possessed terrifying power and invulnerable defense, so he even killed a black fire dragon and became a real hero."

The middle-aged wizard shook his head: "The ancestors of our McFasty family were already living here at that time, so the poor fire dragon should have been secretly released by the dark wizard."

"Pitiful."

Then he continued telling the story.

"But the good times didn't last long. The Muggle King quickly became crazy. He became more and more like a fire dragon, often falling into rage. When he was angry, his breath was mixed with flames."

"In the end, the hero himself turned into a fire dragon. After a disaster, he flew into the sky and disappeared."

William was silent for a moment: "Very common Muggle stories are full of specious misunderstandings about wizards. What, you say this is true?"

The middle-aged wizard nodded: "The black dragon on the volcano was the Muggle King back then. My father once saw the half-melted gold crown on its head. In short, wizards are omnipotent, right?"

William nodded: "Is such a powerful dark wizard actually unknown?"

The middle-aged wizard smiled and shook his head: "There are too many wizards whose reputation is not worthy of their strength."

As he spoke, he sighed: "Okay, this is an extra benefit for your thousand gold galleons. I know you don't believe this story. It doesn't matter if you don't believe it. It's lunch time."

As he said that, he walked towards the longhouse where a few people came out: "You still have half a day, this meal is included."

William smiled, and then followed Luke Lockhart back to the longhouse.

The lunch in the longhouse was very rough, and a whole roasted pig felt like a waste for the three of us.

After finishing lunch, Lockhart took out his parchment and quill and started writing quickly.

He felt that the story he just heard could be used for some purpose, but he didn't know where it would be used.

William and Lu Ke sat together: "So what are you going to do to find that crazy king?"

Lu Ke was silent for a moment: "I want to try that magic spell."

William nodded: "As expected... But if you really believe this legend, you should understand that everything is the curse of a dark wizard. Where can you find a dark wizard?"

Lu Ke smiled: "There has always been a famous dark wizard beside me... I guess."

William smiled: "Forget it, I don't want to know your secret, but you'd better be prepared. Black magic can easily make people crazy."

Lu Ke nodded silently.

But there was no time to waste, this was his only option.

Voldemort's allies once included dementors, giants, werewolves, trolls, and various dark magical animals. Even though Lu Ke is now an absolute wizard killer, he can't deal with dementors or giants.

The threat of dementors reminded Lu Ke that if he really wanted to solve the threat of Voldemort, stronger power was essential.

If he had the power of the fire dragon and the protection of dragon skin that could resist curses, Lu Ke might have an advantage against Voldemort: of course, he still couldn't do anything against the dementors.

At the end of the remaining half day, before dark, they left the Hebrides together.

They separated midway, and William sent Lu Ke back to the gate of Hogwarts.

Then it turned into Johanna Ogulius: "Your state of mind has changed. This is not the Lu Ke I know."

Lu Ke was stunned for a moment: "Why did you say that suddenly?"

Johanna Ogulius sighed: "I can feel your mood. This is a natural ability. Even if I try my best to suppress it and prevent me from seeing your specific thoughts, I can still see the vague impression. ”

Lu Ke nodded: "My plan failed to keep up with the changes, especially Voldemort... If I don't do anything, I'm afraid a lot of bad things will happen in the future."

Johanna Ogulius nodded: "So it doesn't matter that your state of mind has become like this, but what you are going to do next seems to make yourself crazy, right?"

Lu Ke smiled: "Don't worry, I won't lose my mind."

Johanna Ogulius nodded: "I hope my worries are unnecessary."

Lu Ke nodded, then he turned and walked into Hogwarts.

There was still some time before the winter vacation, and he took advantage of this time to complete this process.

Back at the castle, Pallas quietly landed on Lu Ke's shoulder.

Because the MacFasty family in the Hebrides did not allow owls to enter the islands for fear that they would anger the fire dragon, Pallas did not go with Lu Ke this time.

Slytherin's voice rang in Lu Ke's heart: "Now do you understand the true meaning of the test?"

Lu Ke was stunned for a moment: "The real meaning?"

He turned and glanced at Pallas.

Slytherin's tone was full of helplessness: "You should have discovered that even in places like the Hebrides where fire dragons gather, there is no such thing as a dark force composed of fire dragons, so why should I teach you In the language of the fire dragon, you have wasted countless time and even precious opportunities for potions from the beginning.”

Lu Ke smiled and shook his head: "But all this is not in vain."

Pallas stretched his wings: "Strength is strength, dark allies are strength, and your own strength is strength."
