Without even realising it, a few hours had passed since Xavier and the girl that he had saved had begun talking. They had learned quite a lot about each other, but neither of them could hide the fact that they were hungry.

Especially after she offered to provide him with breakfast.

"You aren't going to try and knock me out with the food again this time?" he asked.

She laughed and reassured him that it was only for her safety the last time. She had no idea who he was and was also testing whether he would actually eat. Meanwhile, the assassination attempt just served to show that her overly cautious nature wasn't unwarranted.

That didn't change the fact that Xavier had been on the receiving end of everything she did ever since he had first gotten Zack to contact her. But in a turn of events that she had never expected, she ended up being saved by none other than the unusual youth she didn't trust. She also formed a partnership of sorts with him, which she never expected would happen even with one of the largest gangs in the world.

Despite that, she was glad things turned out the way they did, and so was Xavier.

-

With that, she led Xavier to a smaller room in which they were served a large breakfast that Xavier hungrily devoured. He didn't hold back and ate as if it was the last meal he would ever have the chance to consume. The quality and taste of the food were unlike any other that Xavier had eaten. He also wasn't the type to waste an opportunity to fill up his belly, especially when the food was so well made, as he continued stuffing his face.

Then, after eating enough food to feed a small family for a day, Xavier sat back in his chair and talked to the girl he had saved for a while longer, until he suddenly realised something.

"I know your entire life story, and yet I don't know your name."

"Oh? I assumed you knew it and were calling me 'little girl' to annoy me. I'm Jasmine. Jasmine Hayes, daughter of Ray Hayes."

"And what's this organisation of yours called?" he asked.

"The Numbers," she revealed.

There was a moment of silence as Xavier determined if she was joking before he burst into laughter.

"The Numbers? That's so lame. Your father called his group the Skull Crusher Gang. And your uncle called his organisation the Skullheads. Lame names must run in the family."

"Hey! It's not like the Outlaw Gang is any better."

"Whatever you say, little girl."

Now that he knew her name, it was even more agitating for her when she was called 'little girl' as they began bickering until he stood up and remembered he still had things to deal with.

"Give me your personal phone number and I'll send you everything I need, ideally by the end of today. As for any money that is left over, just leave it with you. You should hear some news of what we did with what we needed soon enough, and it's only a matter of time before this city is under my control."

"You really think so?"

"Yeah. And after I achieve that, we can get rid of your uncle and I'll head back to school," he revealed.

She thought he was joking, but seeing how serious he was, it was clear that he wasn't, which surprised her.

"School? If you truly do get control over the city's criminal underworld, then you'll have hundreds of millions as well as all the power you could ever need. Why would you return to school?"

"Why not?" he responded.

She sighed and didn't bother trying to understand him as she got up to lead him out.

And as they made their way out and got into the lift, Xavier had some final pieces of advice for her.

-

"We might not see each other for a while, so tell 1 and 2 to heal up quickly for me so that I can test out their skills when they're in better shape. And just so you know, big guns and manpower don't win fights. I was thinking about it, and with your skills, you are more of a force to be feared than your numbered subordinates. If you're able to coordinate them effectively from that office of yours and use your skills fully, who knows what you can accomplish."

"And don't think that 3 was the only traitor in your organisation. It's not easy, but you're going to have to be strong and tough with your subordinates. Find the disloyal ones without letting them realise that you are catching on to them, then get any information you can from them before getting rid of them. 1 and 2 will be a big help with that."

With that, Xavier walked off and was led to a large blacked-out car by an armed guard that had been instructed to take him wherever he wanted. Instructing the man to take him to Achara's dojo before messaging everyone to meet him there, Xavier had a lot to tell them. He was also even more excited about what the future had in store for him.

Having Jasmine recognise him and forming a positive relationship with her was all he had initially sought to achieve. Yet, he ended up saving her life as well as that of her closest subordinates, in the process helping her weed out a traitor that was high up in her organisation. He was also dubbed the 'saviour' by her subordinates and had set up the Outlaw Gang to have a reliable supplier for as long as they had money.

All that was left was to live up to the expectations that he placed on himself and the Outlaw Gang. To do so, he had to complete the mission that the system had set for him. Preparation for it had taken over his entire life over the past week. However, it all started to become worth it as all he envisioned started to become reality...
