Chapter 279 Hill of Windspear

Windspear Hill is located at the northernmost tip of the Snowflake Mountains. The reason for this name is that the wind here is strong and fast, and it hurts like being poked by a spear when it blows on the face. After observing the towering rock walls around him, Henry couldn't help shaking his head. He couldn't figure out how Fairkragg fell in love with such a crappy place. Not only is the land very barren, but there is not even a decent road.

In this hilly area lined with strange rocks, the two walked for several hours, and finally found a dilapidated wooden city wall on the cliff in the distance. Sandy was a little surprised and asked: "Ha! There are still people living in such a bad place?"

"Of course, this land belongs to a lord named Galen Windspear. Although he no longer has any rights or subjects, he is at least a nobleman." Henry took off his hood with a smile on his face. To be honest, he admired the lord very much. You must know that most people will tremble with fright when they hear the name of the red dragon, but this guy dares to live here all the time and stick to his territory.

Sandy sneered, and stopped talking. In her opinion, this person is either a fool or a lunatic, otherwise, who would live in this kind of place without problems. You must know that the red dragon is the most powerful among the five-color evil dragons, and the high-temperature flames they spit out are enough to melt metal. What's more, Faircrag is still an old dragon who has lived for a long time. Even just a light breath can turn this crumbling castle into fly ash.

The two quickly came to the castle through a mountain path. I saw that the wooden door was broken, and it could not play any defensive role at all. Henry stood at the door and shouted loudly out of politeness: "Excuse me, is this the residence of Lord Galen Windspear?"

"Who are you guys? What can I do with my father?" A fourteen or fifteen-year-old girl opened the window carefully and asked. It can be seen from her guarded eyes. It must be often harassed by monsters here. Otherwise, the windows would not even be open.

In order to lower the opponent's vigilance, Henry made a full gesture. He first bowed politely, and then replied with a smile: "We are adventurers who came here specially from Askatla. I heard that the land of the lord here was occupied by an evil red dragon, so we came to eradicate this powerful giant beast."

"Really?" There was a light of expectation in the girl's eyes, but then it dimmed. "Forget it, you can't be the opponent of Faircrag. It is too powerful, I don't want you to die."

In order to win people's trust, Henry took out a white dragon's head from the dimension bag and threw it over. "Don't worry. We've slayed dragons before, and more than one. You just have to tell me where the red dragon is hiding, and I'll be back with its head soon."

"My god! A head of a white dragon!" The girl's eyes were instantly attracted by the dragon's head, and that kind of faint dragon power couldn't be faked at all. She quickly closed the window, opened the door, rushed out and saluted. "I'm very sorry, dear dragonslayer. Please forgive my rudeness. You know that this land is full of Faircrag's minions, and we have to be careful to survive."

Henry patted the girl's shoulder and comforted him: "Child, you don't have to apologize. In this land shrouded in evil, no matter how careful you should be. Now tell me where this evil red dragon lives. By this time tomorrow at the latest, you can see its head."

What he said was just words. Hearing this, the girl's eyes were filled with stars, and her face flushed with excitement. Sandy Er stood aside and covered her mouth, almost laughing. She couldn't be more clear about her master's disposition, and she is a typical no-profit. If such people can be thrown into the camp of kindness, then the whole world will not be far from being destroyed.

After the excitement, the girl pulled the corner of her clothes a little embarrassedly. "I'm sorry, sir. Father doesn't want me to tell anyone about Faircrag's lair, lest someone rush in and die. Why don't you sit in the house for a while, and father will be back in two hours."

Seeing that there was nothing to be asked from the girl's mouth, Henry had no choice but to nod helplessly, and followed them into the house. For the next two hours, he told this little guy full of fantasies about his experience of slaying dragons. Hearing this, the girl's blood spurted, and he wished he could immediately draw out his weapon and fight the red dragon to the death.

"Ilsa, are there any guests at home?" A voice suddenly came from outside the house. Immediately after the door was pushed open, a middle-aged man nearly two meters tall and fully armed walked in. He first glanced at several strangers with sharp eyes, and then nodded politely.

"Father, these are dragon slaying warriors who came from Amn. Look, there are still their glorious battle results on the table." The girl stood up from her chair and said excitedly.

Seeing the lord here coming, Henry stood up and bowed slightly. "Hello, Lord Galen. We just want to get the location of Faircrag's lair from here."

When Galen saw the dragon head placed on the table, his pupils shrank suddenly, then he put his hand on his chest, and immediately returned the salute. "Hello, respected dragon slayers. That evil red dragon lives in an underground ruin to the north. If you want to get rid of it, please take me with you. As a Tyre (god of justice) paladin and local lord, I have the responsibility to fight alongside you."

Hearing his words, Henry quickly waved his hand and refused: "I'm sorry, we won't bring the father of an underage girl. Otherwise, if something happens, I don't know what to say to her."

Bring a paladin of the God of Justice? There must be a limit to joking. Although these guys never care about the spoils, and they can also block the knife for their teammates at critical moments. But none of them can conceal the fact that their thinking is rigid and they never want to violate the dogma. Even if standing behind the enemy, the paladins will first remind the opponent, then raise their weapons to salute, and finally start to kill each other.

Although it sounds beautiful and gentlemanly, in Henry's eyes, it's just taking off his pants and farting-it's superfluous. He has prepared a lot of wicked tricks to deal with Faircrag. If Galen saw it, he would definitely not agree. In order to avoid unnecessary trouble, let this uncle paladin stay here to look after the children.

Glancing at his immature daughter, Galen sighed slightly, and finally nodded. "Well, maybe you're right. I'll stay in this house with Ilsa, and come to me if you need help."

"Haha, don't worry, we will come back with the head of the red dragon in a short time." Henry laughed and waved, and walked out with Sandy and Spellcaster No. 2.

Ilsa looked at their backs and asked her father in a low voice, "Dad, will they succeed?"

"Perhaps, at least their title of dragon slaying warrior is true. Put this white dragon head away and return it when the guests come back." Galen stroked his daughter's hair regretfully. He very much wanted to complete a feat of slaying a dragon in his lifetime, and let the world sing about his achievements.

Along the mountain road leading to the north, the two of them plus a golem moved forward quickly. While walking, Sandy asked in a low voice: "Master, why did that disgusting paladin just want to be with us? Isn't he afraid of dying under the breath of the red dragon?"

Henry smiled and explained to the sorceress: "Hehe, the way of thinking of paladins is different from that of normal people. Lord Galen should have seen that we have the strength to kill Faircrag, and wanted to make some contributions in this dragon slaying battle in order to gain some reputation."

"Damn it, don't paladins claim to be the most noble profession in the world? What's the difference between such a calculation and the devil in hell." Sandy Er cursed in a low voice. As a chaotic evil sorcerer, she is not favored by priests, paladins, and monks of all good alignments.

"Kindness doesn't mean that you have no brains. Only those paladins who are still in their apprenticeship will rush to die in front of a giant dragon beyond their limits. The more experienced the old guy, the more comprehensive his consideration. Forget it, what are you talking about, anyway, you will only have one emotion for them, and that is disgust." Henry said, using a zero-level magic spell "North Pointing", and re-confirmed the direction.

After climbing the mountain road for more than half an hour, they finally came to the entrance of a dungeon that looked very old. A dragon's head is carved on the top of the two huge stone pillars at the door, and a large group of orcs are blocking the door, as if they are doing patrol work. Sandyr leaned over to Henry's ear and whispered, "What should we do with these orcs? Kill them all, or sneak in?"

A cruel smile appeared on Henry's face and he said to the sorceress: "Don't you like killing very much, I let go of the restrictions now. In this dungeon, except for the half-dragon man, I will kill all other living creatures."

Hearing this sentence, Shandier licked her master's earlobe in ecstasy, and then let out a deep moan: "Oh... this is really the best news I have heard these days. Please wait a moment, I will soon turn these dirty orcs into cute corpses." After she finished speaking, she blessed herself with a "Stoneskin Spell", and walked forward quietly.

Looking at the enchanting back of the sorceress, Henry quickly took out the kettle and took a few sips of cold water to calm down his body. Soon, the physical urge is gone. As soon as he raised his head, he saw a cloud of deadly poisonous gas spreading at the entrance of the ruins. All the orcs were caught off guard, and they all lay on the ground, spitting black poisonous blood, and fell to the ground in just a dozen seconds, their deaths were horrific.

Waiting for the "death cloud technique" to dissipate, Sandyer hummed an unknown song softly and stepped over the corpses, just like spreading them in the garden. Seeing this weird picture, Henry couldn't help sighing. It seems that there is a long way to go to change her chaotic nature, at least for a few years. As for evil, it doesn't matter, anyway, I can't be considered a good person. (to be continued..)
