1495 More Overpowered Than Void

Lucas wanted to know the secrets to becoming a God. He had been searching for a long time, but he had never thought of ever trying to be perfect. Only after seeing Grey did this thought came to him. If an Elementalist could be perfect, then there's a high chance he could become a God.

No weakness, incredibly strong. This was a new view on things. With this insight, there's a chance that he might be able to break the curse that has plagued the Aurora Continent for countless years now.

However, when he sensed the strength of his physical body, his expression turned grim. He would need tens of years to increase the strength of his physical body to that of a Half-God stage.

The only way he had been able to increase his physical strength all this while was through breakthrough, and compared to Grey's method, it was completely different and would be weaker.

'I'll start working on it. But for now, he has the greatest chance. I'll make sure to create the opportunity for him. I need to discuss with those guys.' Lucas looked at his son and shut his eyes to think about what might be.

A God appearing in the Aurora Continent would change everything.

While Lucas was thinking about all this, Grey had not only killed the Bull, but he was in the process of skinning it, preparing to cook it. He always moves around with ingredients in case the situation arises.

Lucas was surprised when he saw Grey bringing out so many ingredients. He even had some great tonics he was planning on using for making soup.

"How luxurious." He commented as he moved closer.

"Father, can you help seal this place? So no aura will go out." Grey requested.

Lucas gave him a suspicious look, but did as Grey requested. His expression once again turned into one of shock when he saw what Grey brought out.

"Hey little guy, how has it been in there?" Grey said to the Dragon that came out from his spatial ring.

He had been keeping this guy there and had even forgotten to bring it out since leaving. Well, it wasn't that he completely forgot, it was just that he didn't have the opportunity to do so. Now that they were about to have a feast, of course he was going to bring out the little Dragon.

"You have a Dragon?" Lucas couldn't help but ask.

"Well, I saw its wounded mother in the forest…" Grey explained how he met Melmera and how she gifted him some techniques with the hope of having him look after her son.

"Such pure bloodline. It must be from the inner circle." Lucas commented and said, "Even among Dragons, they are ranked by the purity of their bloodline. This Dragon's mother might not have a pure bloodline, but the little one has one of the purest bloodlines I've seen."

"Does that make him special even among Dragons?" Grey asked as he looked at the little guy.

"More or less. Depends on its potential. But with such a bloodline, there's no reason for it not to have limitless potential. It will grow like that cat, having no obstacles." Lucas explained.

He had asked Grey about Void and how Void cultivated. Hearing that Void only sleeps and rarely trains, he was genuinely jealous of Void. Not having to cultivate like them was an amazing thing. One might think such a figure is lazy, but he had seen Void in action a few times and knew that he was anything but lazy.

Grey was happy on behalf of the Dragon. As long as the Dragon can get stronger quickly, he was fine.

"Actually, there's a special ability such Dragons usually have. I don't know if this little one will have it. But it's a very powerful ability." Lucas recalled something and walked over to the Bull.

He moved his hand in a quick manner and the head of the Bull was cut open, a small bead appeared in his hand as he walked to the Dragon.

The Dragon was afraid and moved to Grey's back. He could sense that Lucas could kill him with a single strike.

"Don't worry, he won't harm you." Grey comforted him.

The Dragon looked at him and slightly moved away from Grey's back, only poking his head out.

Lucas didn't mind this and tossed the beast core of the Bull to him. Given the size of the Bull, it's core is originally bigger than the small bead in Lucas' hand, but Lucas compressed it to such a size to make it more convenient for the Dragon.

The Dragon opened his mouth and with a single gulp, he swallowed it down.

The body of the Dragon bloated as Lucas studied it carefully, if he senses that it was in danger, he would remove the excess energy from his body.

The Dragon which seemed like it was about to explode quickly retracted back to its original size, however, something else was happening. Its aura started to spike.

It was previously in the Mid stages of the Fifth Rank, but under the gaze of Lucas, Grey, and Void, it shot to the Peak of the Fifth Rank, and after a few seconds, it broke into the Sixth Rank. It continued moving and stopped at the peak of the Early stages of the Sixth Rank.

In a matter of seconds, the Dragon went from the Mid stages of the Fifth Rank to the peak of the Early stages of the Sixth Rank.

Rank Five to Six in only a few seconds, and the Dragon didn't look like it was in any danger, nor were there any signs of side- effects.

"That's even more overpowered than Void's sleeping" Grey's breath was taken away. He didn't expect Dragons to possess such abilities, and this little guy had it as well.

"If we get him more, wouldn't he just be able to get to Rank Eight in a few days?" He asked his father.

"That's not how it works. You see, after taking a good number of it, quality cores, their bodies will need time to adjust." Lucas explained.
